Pioneer TS-G1642R Car Speaker

I put these in my wife's Corolla. They sound a whole lot better than the stock speakers, however if you're looking for good bass, look elsewhere. These speakers don't play the low end super loud. Great Mids and Highs though. Be sure to turn the bass down slightly or they will distort.

decent speakers ,for what i paid ($20) - they sound pretty good ,only thing i wouldnot buy them for stereo without equalizer or at least 3 band parametric eq (bass,mid,treble) because you will need to adjust midrange which is pretty high in those speakers ,and dont use them with amplifier -stock 20 watts rms is enough and dont go below 63-80hz - if you need higher output just buy component speakers but like i said - for 20 bucks they are pretty loud but to hear bass you will need to get at least some "bazooka" or something i run them with 10" fosgate and precision power amp - only 200 watts but sounds nice

Speakers arrived and were not, new/unopened, as advertised. I contacted seller and money was quickly refunded and I was instructed not to return the item. Seller was very good about responded to my emails and I was very satisfied with their response. I'll buy from them again and I would recommend them to anyone.

Sounded great hooked up to my sony head-unit. much better build quality than I was expecting for the price.

I like that the speakers have really clear treble and can be turned up loud but the bass kind of sucks. I have a 2000 impala stock and the stock door speakers have 2 times more bass, I would recommend these to someone that has subs or doesn't like any bass at all while listening to music. Don't just buy it because it's Pioneer. They do sound good but Pioneer could have done a better job with more bass I think personally. Overall I am somewhat happy with them because I have 4 10" rockford subs in my trunk but I am worried that if something happens to my subs I will have no bass because the 6.5" speakers don't produce much at all but with the subs I guess they are ok. Very little mounting depth though so that is one plus if you dont have much space to work with.
