Pioneer HTS-GS1 Theater System

Gaming has become a past time in our house, my wife and I love rock band, rock band 2 and my kids love to play as well, we have he complete set up in our living room jvc reciever with jbl surround speakers two 10 inch subwoofers. Just about as real life as you can get. But what we started noticing was our living room was getting takin over. Playing video games in there was much more fun/realistic than playing call to duty four in there room. So we started looking at ways to improve there sound, at this point anything was better than the sound from the tv. We tried the surrounds sounds systems from walmart, circuit city keeping in mind we were not planning on a 699-2000 system. I stumbled on this from ebay, I was a sceptic at first. But once we got this set up in there room and started it up. For the size of the room and quality of sound you would think it was one of the high quality systems you have to go in the sound room at best buy to listen to. I am very impressed with the ease of use, quality of material and the subwoofer for the size it really pounds out some sound. I have been a stereo junky most of my adult life and I have not run across a system as in expensive as this with the sound quality it has. Pioneer has truly out done themselves. the only other thing I can say is thanks to Pioneer we get our living room back

Reasonably easy to set up. Very clear instructions. Great sound in both games and movies alike. Deffinitely a must buy for HD tv video game set ups

I bought mine for $150 + $30 shipping brand new, and it is outstanding. I own a $2000 Bose home theater system and this system (though not as crisp) almost delivers to that standard. The inference is easy to use, and the sound quality is un-beatable for the price. Get one soon, they stopped making them back in 2007.

I recieved the system within days and quickly set it up. The sound was awesome....we have a rather smaller room about 25x15 living room where we keep it and it really makes the house bounce. It sounds similar to those 600/700 systems but not as much $. The subwoofer is fantastic sound/base
I purchase as well a wireless speaker setup so wires weren't around the floors and room and its made the difference. Movie's are better, the surround sound is tremendous, the gaming experience is awesome and i couldn't be happier. In fact I have 2 friends now looking to purchase the system as well. The only problem so far is I haven't been able to connect the T.V to the sytem its only good for Movies through the xbox, Tuner/sterio which is great, and games on Xbox 360. But for the money you pay its a great purchase....4 1/2 stars.

I had this surround sound system before and I used it for my Xbox 360 and PS3 and all I have to say is that it's a really good deal for the price, it haves amazing surround sound quality and build quality, it's the reason why I am purchasing the same item twice! = )
