This machine can play almost anything! CD, SACD, DVD-Audio, DVD movies from anywhere in the world. I'm very well pleased with everything about it. It does come to life a bit slower than I would like, but that's very minor...everything else about it is fabulous. Even comes with an HDMI cable!
So far I've played DVD-audios, DVD region 1 and 2 movies, SACD discs...all turned out quite well.
