Pioneer DEH-P980BT Car CD/ MP3 Player

If you want a wow factor in a DIN head unit...look no further. I've seen setups that cost twice as much that don't look this good. Pioneer really concentrated on asthetics over the common bland look of most stereos.

The Bluetooth is built it, so you only need to attach the microphone and sync your phone..you can even store your phone numbers on the head unit! The color display on the unit displays your cd tracks like an MP3 player....scrolling up and down is helpful when you have an MP3 cd with ver 100 songs on it.

It has a motorized face plate that lowers to show the CD slot and it also lowers when the car is shut off and releases the face plate for removal. If you choose not to remove the face, it returns to normal after about 30 seconds.

If you want to attach an iPod, you must purchase a separate unit for about $50 to make it work. If you have an audio build that requires an impressive look...start with this head unit.

The unit does what it was advertised to do. Hooked it up with an iPod and also a Nokia phone.The controls work well. Sound quality is great. No compaints at all.

This radio is by far the best I have heard on installed the sound quality and the fearures the unit has to self adjust to your car is amazing. The high voltage Rca pre outs will transform any system with an amplifer. Bluetooth sounds good. Unit is able to display your system voltage and also RPM. All in all it is a strong head unit with alot of fun extras.
