I took up golf when I turned 59 about two years ago and in the first nine months of playing, I just could not hit my fairway woods, inexpensive clones of Titlest woods. Then a sympathetic manager of a golf store suggested I try a used Ping TISI Tec 3 wood. It immediately changed my game to the extent that I bought a used TISI Tec 5 wood and 7 wood (both on eBay) -- and if Ping had made a TISI Tec 9 wood, I would have bought that one, too. These clubs work just like my Ping G2 driver -- very forgiving, very accurate and high and long. A word of caution -- I'm not a strong swinger, but the stiff shaft seems best because the regular flex is just to whippy. And make sure you have a Ping-installed shaft. Anything else could be a problem. The Ping TISI tec woods may seem expensive for used clubs, but they're worth every dollar. I'm actually looking to pick up a second set, just to ensure that I'll never be without them.

This club is several years old, but, it is still the very best fairway wood you can buy. It is totally accurate, very long, even has some forgiveness to it. But mainly, you can hit this ball off the deck as easily as a 6 iron. For real. If you struggle with hitting a 3 wood, this is the club you need to buy.

Tisi Tec 7 wood
) I just received my recently ebay purchased 7 wood. For the price, it is a very good purchase. It is in decent shape and looks like it has a lot of rounds left in it. I decided to purchase it because I am looking for a 3/4 iron replacement and the rescue type clubs don't seem to work for me.

TISI Tec 14 degI purchased this fairway wood about three weeks ago. It is by far the best fairwood mnade by ping. The feedback you receive when the ball is hit is excellent. The distance with this ping tec fairwaywood is by far the longest of all the 3 woods that I purchased. I purchased this club because all of my playing partners have one. It was a great purchase.

Great Club!I fell victim to the Siren of "new technology," and sold my old, trusty PING TiSi 5-wood. Big mistake. Had to get another one on ebay; this time it's staying in the bag for good. It's long and accurate, which is unusal for a duffer like me.

Next to the G2 12* (if you can find one) this is the best 3 wood ping has made... too bad they redesigned the firway woods with the g5 and g10 models... The off hosel shaft makes it the easiest to align, and this is by far the longest, straightest 3 wood I've hit to date, and its 10 years old... I play to a 2.8 GHIN hcp. But would recomend thi club to a 12 handicaper, just get the 14* model!!!!

should've included 12 degree loftin the great Ping tradition this club is an engineering marvel, like a lot of Ping clubs, regardless of their technological age. it has great feel and playability. easy to look at upon address. did i say it's long? it's a hot face, and it is long. an excellent 3 metal wood and a great inexpensive alternative to the latest, much more expensive technology.

ping ti tec fairway woodthese clubs are as strong as everyone says. larger clubhead really helps the confidence factor and the face really is super hot. keep in mind the ball seems to launch higher. overall...these clubs are as awesome as the people who own them say they are.

I HAVE SENT TWO E-MAILS TO THE SELLER AND THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED. THEY SENT THE WRONG CLUB. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A TISI PING 5 WOOD WITH A STIFF SHAFT. THEY SENT A PING 5 WOOD WITH A LADY SHAFT AND IT WAS NOT A TISI MODEL.I COULD USE YOUR ASSISTANCE ON THIS SINCE I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I CAN DO TO EITHER GET MY MONEY BACK OR HAVE THEM SEND THE CORRECT CLUB.
