Ping Rapture Wedge Golf Club

Ping doesn't support the military. They have shown this by refusing to sell Ping products to over 60 military installations because they gave 10% discounts to active duty and retired military members. This is unacceptable!

Really puts the spin on the balls. Easer to hit then other wedges I have tried.

I purchased the ping wedge to complete a set I purchased from a golf shop. The wedge is an excellent addition.

Perfect club at a great price. Very pleased with transaction. Item was in great shape and described perfectly. Buying on line can be scarey but not with EBAY. Golf clubs are hard to predict when trying to buy on line only from specs
from manufacturers web pages. I own a set of clubs and wanted to complete the set and was very lucky to find this club and purchase it at this great great price and in such great condition. My time spent on EBAY has saved me time gas and money. I am learning to use my time and effort more wisely to find anything I need on EBAY first. Thank you EBAY.

My order was an international order and I received it in a couple of days. The item came in a well wrapped package and was exactly as described on the ebay site.

I have a set of blk dot 3-U graphite reg flex. You should be aware that these clubs get huge loft and 1 club less in distance. I'm a 6-8 handicap, depends on my putting, but I know I get 140-150yds for my 9 iron & my pinching wedge i get 120-135yds. But with these raptures, I get a full iron short due to the loft. I advise you try raptures or get fit first. I'm getting my raptures fitted to blue with 1/2 strong. It only cost 18.00 for a set of clubs plus shipping cost to have ping do this, not a bad deal.
For the guy who got stiffed with a fake, my advice is, always ask for the serial number & place of purchase. Ping will verify the number of clubs, shaft, weight etc... and will tell you only which city/state they were shipped/sold to. Also, check with ping asap when you get them, try them out, and make sure the ebay seller is backed by paypal.
Another good advice, when I purchased my Raptures on ebay, I called ping and the customer service guys jumped on their computers to look at the ebay item with you!!! They just need the ebay item ID number. They'll help research, just tell them you are looking at a set of raptures on ebay and give the serial number. Hope this helped.

I like Ping Rapture golf Clubs and recently purchased a set on E-Bay. I needed a Sand Wedge and decided to purchase it on e-bay as well. Before my purchase I asked the seller for the serial number of the club. He stated he was a Power Seller and guarantee his Ping Rapture Sand Wedge to be authentic. He had a 100% positive feedback, so I decided to purchase it. When I received it, I called Ping to register my club and to check authenticity. The seller stated the Rapture Sand wedge was new and wrap in platic and never opened. Ping doesn't sell clubs like that in plastic wrap. The Serial number 7383G matched a set of Ping Rapture Irons with production date of 10/12/2006. This set consisted of irons (3-9 and a pitching wedge) But not a Sand wedge. Ping stated they had not manufactured a Ping Rapture Sand Wedge (S) with the serial number 7383G. Therefor: based on my conversation with Ping I concluded the Ping Rapture Sand Wedge was a Forgery. I e-mailed the seller " topseller547 " He stated he stood behind his product and offered a refund. I then called Ping again to ask what the protocol was for a person selling a conterfit Ping club. They said it was against the Law and that they should be reported to E-bay and E-Bay would take it up with the seller. So on March 11th of 2009 I e-mailed E-Bay customer support and told them what was going on. The seller stated that the club was verified by Ping on my negative feed back with a rebuttal. But this was not true. I still have the club and am only doing what I think is best for the E-Bay community. Pleas respond as to what my next step should be. This seller also sold 3 or 4 other Ping rapture Sand wedges. My Transaction number is (KMM318378239V82748L0KM). The Sellers name is Cliff.
