Ping Rapture Single Iron Golf Club

Ping makes great golf clubs. I have used them for 25 years and just bought a new set of rapture irons and I love them. I wish Ping would offer a discount to our military soldiers but they do not. Ping does not offer discounts to anyone. If the golf dealers sell at a discount they loose there account with ping, if they are caught.

SENT 8 OR MORE EMAIL, NO REPLYS. PAID FOR PRIORITY MAIL 2-3. DIDN'T SHIP FOR NEARLY 15 DAYS, THEN ONLY AFTER I FILLED CLAIM WITH PAYPAL. HE IS ON MY BLOCK LIST AND I WILL NOT BUY AGAIN FROM HIM.
THEN WHEN HE FINIALY SHIPPED THE CLUB LOSE IN BOX WITH NO PROTECTION.

Ping doesn't support the military. They have shown this by refusing to sell Ping products to over 60 military installations because they gave 10% discounts to active duty and retired military members. This is unacceptable!

I normally do not write reviews about items purchased. But this time I felt compelled to write a review. These Ping Rapture clubs are just amazing. I dropped my score from a normal 110 to 93 the very first time I played with them. The ball just takes off like you would not believe. Super high trajectory, accuracy, distance, no vibration even on off center hits; I can go on and on but until you experience hitting a ball with Ping Raptures, you won’t believe it.

I was looking for a replacement(#7) of my clubs(Ping S59, Red dot, Regular) lost during the last summer. It was really difficult to find the same club. I am using it as the substitute. This has an excellent condition, but I have a little strange feeling because it is different model. However, I can say that both the seller and this club are excellent in my review.

item better then described...timely....good honest sale....nothing bad to be said, i immediately put it to use and it did nothing but impress because i was expecting less then described and received much better not much more positive things can i say about this sale

I purchased this club hoping to find something easy to hit.Well....it is extremley easy to hit straight and added ten yards distance to my 6 iron shot. I am a high handicap. I can see a set of these clubs dropping my score 5 to 10 strokes.

I bought this club for a friend. He wanted to try a Ping club and I was able to get it at a good price.

Great "specialty" club to have in my bag for when I can't get at a ball right handed or backhanded(which happens more often than I'd like!)Easy to hit and very forgiving. I also have a Rapture RH 2 iron for when I need to come out long and low from tree lines(You should have figured out by now I don't have a very low handicap!). Best clubs I've ever hit.

- "Rapture" great name in case of lightning!

It's a nice club. I lost my ISI-K blue dot 7-iron and was looking for a replacement.
The price was right, and I like the feel and swing weight. I feel like I'm hitting better shots with it right out of the box!

I bought a ping rapture 6 iron to test the club for a future iron set purchase.The club has a graphite shaft and good balance,feel.It is forgiving and easy to hit from both the rough and fairway.I strongly recommend a test for those interested in buying a new iron set.

Wanted to test the club on the course; found it to be long and forgiving yet allow good ball control. Like it and may buy a set at a future date if I decide to replace my irons.

Club is easy to hit. I found the graphite Regular flex shafts to light for my swing speed of 83 to 93 miles an hour and changed to a True Temper TT light steel. I found the PW to be extremly accurate and easier to hit than other name brands. My score runs around low 90's to high 80's. Club is also very good on chip shots. Other clubs tried: Callaway Big Bertha and X-16, Taylor Made OS-2 Graphite and McGregor V-Foil.
