I was looking for a set of Ping ISI "Nickel" irons. The seller listed this set of irons as made of nickel. After hitting the clubs a few times I felt that they felt like steel. I have 2 other sets of clubs (Maxfli) that are made of nickel so I feel I could tell the difference. I checked with Ping manufacturing and they said that the nickel ISI irons were identified with gold lettering on the clubs. The steel ISI irons are identified with black lettering. This set has black lettering and are definitely the steel model. I have written 2 emails to the seller. I have yet to receive a reply. I feel I have been scammed and that the seller knew he was selling steel clubs but since nickel clubs sell for about $100 to $150 more he listed them as nickel. What are my options? Discouraged and disgusted.

These clubs added 10 yards to my game. I was able to hit balls higher and farther. the sweet spot is huge.

clubs were listed as regular flex shafts, items received were stiff flex. VERY BIG DIFFERENCE FOR GOLF CLUBS! VERY EVASIVE ON SHIPPING INFO, PAID FOR TOP LEVEL SHIPPING, GOT THE BASEMENT !!!!

Having previously had a set of Ping ISI Nickel golf clubs, I was aware that they had a very soft feel, so I decided to find another set which fortunately I did on EBAY. It turned out the Seller was the Pro at the course in Naples, Fl where Greg Norman hosted his shoot-out. That makes my clubs more interesting because his name is on my clubs which he suggested that I could remove. I told him, "NO Way" That name stays on my clubs in hopes that it improves my game. I reshafted the clubs with senior shafts and shot my best score in months the first time out. A friend of mine just bought a set of the original senior shafts for me on EBAY, so with another reshaft job, I have exactly what I wanted and a beautiful set which I completed on EBAY!!!

Helped my game. Added 30 yards to all my shots. Especially like the extra inch in shaft length. At 6ft. 4in. it has increased my leverage and improved my stance. Glad I bought em'.

Ping ISI NICKELGreat clubs. I own 8 sets of irons and I like these the best. They barely beat out my eye 2's. I just got a set of taylormade tour burner irons that are supposed to be longer than anything made. The shafts are longer and the lofts are lower for the same club. Guess what, they were not any longer than the ISI nickel club for club. Newest is not always best. The ping isi was easier to hit and felt better. I am not a scratch golfer, about 10 handicap, but I know what a good club feels like. I own 4 sets of taylormades,2 sets of pings, 1 set of callaways, and a set of browning 440's.

Ping ISI Irons - Green Dot X-StiffThese are very good irons - kind of a hybrid between the good old Ping Eye 2s and the Ping Zings. X-stiff shafts can be hard to find. I couldn't beat the deal.

) To the previous reviewer, with Ping irons you can always contact Ping with the Serial Numbers to find out whether they are what a seller says they are. I bought a set of ISI irons on ebay years ago which looked like steel (white letters) and when I called Ping with the serial numbers, I found out that they were in fact Nickel, and someone had apparently reconditioned them. Always check the serial numbers with Ping before purchasing if you have any question as to what you are buying.

this set of clubs are flawless. the finish on this classic set of irons is the best that I have ever seen. I had to change the shafts because they were a senior flex, I was surprised by that. Over all I am very pleased with this purchase.
