In addition, if you are not very good at the long irons (3 or 4) you may want to look at the hybrids. I have them too. If you hit the ball poorly, the hybrids dramatically reduce the mishit effect.

Be careful when bidding. There are some demo clubs floating around out there. Check with the seller for serial numbers as all Ping consumer clubs have them. Pay attention to feedback scores. This is Ebay's barometer of service. I swear by the feedback system.

I purchased these clubs because my daughter asked for a "good" set of clubs. I was familiar with the G2 irons and felt that they would be a set that she could play for many years. Pings are also easy to "fit" in that they are easily bent to achieve the proper lie angle. I took the set to a friend who owns a golf shop. Currently the clubs are being shortened and the lie angle adjusted to create a properly fitted club. The other benefit of buying Pings, any Ping product is that they have great resale vale. That is not the case with every club but with Pings you can't go wrong. I have a set myself and over the years have had about half a dozen sets of Ping irons. They are bulletproof when it come to resale value.
