Ping Eye 2 Single Iron Golf Club

love my set of black dot irons... have used them for several years and will not give them up. if you get a chance to buy an entire set- i would not hesitate.

The seller's add showed the club to be a black dot but they shipped an orange dot. In ping golf clubs it is important that you purchase the correct color because the color determines the lie of the club. Also I was looking for a black dot seven iron to replace the seven iron that was lost. This is the worst experience I have had on ebay. All my other dealing were good. I should have looked at the seller's rating before bidding. I will never buy without checking in the future. And to top this off they gave me a bad rating because I complained. The add clearly stated that it was a black dot. I wish someone with ebay would contact them. Surely you can still pull up the add.

Ever since I bought my first set of Ping Eye 2 irons some thirty or more years ago, I won't part with them no matter what the next super set of irons are. I have tried numerous sets prior to buying my Pings and numerous sets since, I will never sell the best club that has ever been made. I can hit the ball further and straighter with the Ping Eye 2 than any other. The sand wedge is the best for getting the ball up and down of any on the market. I'm sold!

Great irons. Even with today's technology it is still difficult to beat these irons. The only issue I have experienced with these clubs is if you golf in colder weather, they will give you a good sting from time to time, but the distance and control is unmatched by any club on the market today....Too bad that the square groove is no longer in production according to USGA rules...With these clubs being grandfathered in....it gives us hacks the ability to put spin on the ball like players at a much higher level. Nice to even the playing field....these clubs will do that for you!!!!

I purchased the Ping Eye 2 9 iron for my husband's birthday. He had acquired his Ping Eye 2 set from his father 10 years ago but lost the 9 iron. I wanted to find a club for him that also fit my budget.

The club is in excellent condition and my husband is very happy with it. The price was great and it arrived as good as it appeared on ebay. There is nothing I don't like about.

And I get credit for surprising him with something he actually asked for!

Ping eye2 are the greatest ping irons ever made. I highly recommend that you buy a set now because they will be unavailable eventually. They are very solid and are easy to line up. They are far superior to today's modern cavity back irons. Take my word for it,buy a set.

These long irons are difficult to hit, but if I warm up well, the shot is straight and far. Not recommending 2 iron unless you tee it off.
The sweet spot area is small for these clubs.

I bought this club on behalf of a friend who had lost his 8 iron. It came from the USA and arrived without delay. it was in good condition and as advertised.

MY RECENT PURCHASE OF A PING EYE II GOLF CLUB WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. WHEN I FOUND OUT I WAS THE HIGH BID AND CONTACTED THE SELLER, IT WAS JUST A FEW DAYS AND THE CLUB WAS IN MY HAND. AFTER RECIEVING THE CLUB, AND INSPECTING IT CLOSELY, IT WAS JUST AS ADVERTISED. IF EVERY PURCHASE WAS AS GENUINE AS THIS ONE, IT WOULD BE A NICE WORLD TO LIVE IN IN THAT YOU WOULD KNOW YOU COULD TRUST THOSE YOU DO BUSINESS WITH.

I received my purchase on a timely manner and was in the described shape. Very happy with it! I had a hard time finding a golf club, the minute I sought it, it was exactly was I was looking for.

I was very pleased with the club; it came as advertised. No disapointments and I would buy from this seller again.

Golf club was exactly as advertised, which was old and worn but it was priced as such. The golf club is shorter than my own so I will need to get the shaft replaced. Handle was worn and will also need replacing. However, at $20, the Ping Eye 2 golf club was exactly as advertised.

I bought it for long, low shots. I too, use it on long dog leg holes.
I am very pleased with it. I don't hit it like the pros but I enkoy it ther same.

Had a different shaft than I thought. I needed this four iron because I lost the original.

I lost my beloved one iron to rock hidden just under the fairway grass. The ball went one way and the club head went sailing into the pond. I am very pleased with the quality of this used ping one iron.
The grip even matches the other clubs in my set of ping irons.
I have been playing with ping irons for several years and personally think there are none better.
When you make that perfect swing and perfect contact, you don't have to look for the ball because the sound a ping club makes just lets you know that the ball is heading for the hole.

I have been playing Ping eye 2+ irons since I purchased my first used set, 25 years ago. These are great irons but my original #5 iron's shaft broke off in the hosel. Local golf shops didn't want to work on the tapered shaft, and Ping would fix it for $30-$35 plus shipping both ways. While this replacement doesn't match my set's serial numbers, it is a great iron, now in my bag! Since these clubs were made, the only other irons I would consider are the early 2000 - 2003 Callaway HawkEye irons. As long as I can keep hitting these well, I will continue to enjoy (IMHO) the best irons Ping made!

I bought a 7 iron Ping Eye 2 club to complete my set (had lost my original clubat the golf course). I was extremely happy with the product and the promptness in receiving it. I can always get good products at EBay at reasonable prices.

I had lost my 5 iron, and found a lucky spare on this site. Price was great, service was great, would buy from again.

Loved the condition of the shaft and grip. Replaced the grip only to fit my hand size and so it would fit my set, otherwise it looked like it was new. Head of club was in good condition considering the type of steel. Head looked like it had been polished or heavily cleaned before it was sent. Theres 10 points right there. Overall it was an excellent club.

This item is exactly as described in the auction. I have been looking for this iron for some time, and am very happy with my purchase.
