Ping Craz-e Putter Golf Club

It looks something like a half a spaceship, with a strange klingon look to it, like you're about to hit a golf ball into warp 5. But once you pick the putter up and feel it, it comes clear what the strange look is for. It is shaped in a way that makes it difficult to push or pull the ball when putting, and this is especially useful when a slight movement can mean a disastruous result.

Its a very good putter, and also very expensive. It feels good lining the ball up, but the important part is that it also flows through with a straight, and very evenly balanced feel to it. It almost glides through the air. It feels wonderful, but also light, in that its easy to swing, and feels like its there, unlike many putters that don't feel like they have any weight. I found it easy to sink long putts with this, and the more I tried it, the better I got, and I found I was able to sink or get very close with just about any distance once I got used to the feel. I very highly recommend this putter, its a definate must.

It also breeds confidence when you address the putter, because when you bring the putter back, it feels like an extension of your arms, rather than a long steel rod with a bit of industrial plastic on the end.

The main highlight of this is that it is balanced perfectly, and gives a very consistent feel to it.

For 10 years I used the Ping B-60. I won several putters and gave them all away. On a whim, switched to an Odyssey 2 ball, and had good results. Gave it away on whim, and went back to the B60. One round 10 3 putts! On a whim, bought this at a tent sale. One round (3 days of practice), no 3 putts! 4 one putts, the rest tap ins of less than 3 feet. Truly amazing with my claw grip (another whim). Best putter ever (for me).

This replaces an Odyssey White Hot 2 Ball and a Ping Anser 2 putter. It was my opinion that neither of these putters were replaceable, however the Craz-e proved me wrong. My putting average for 18 holes (just in the short time that I have owned the putter has gone from approx. 30 putts/round to approx. 25 putts/round). Long story short, this putter is geared for the average player looking to shave some strokes off of the short game. Watch out for the reaction off of the face of the club as it seems to be extremely "hot" and can many times fly past the target if not careful. Otherwise, extremely accurate and once you dial in on the power of your putting stroke, you will be putting like the pro's...or at least the really good amateurs. BUY IT YOU WILL LOVE IT!

I've tried both the G2 and G5 with equal success. This putter is not designed like a traditional putter but the balance and "feel" will make you sink more putts. I found that the Craz-e gives me the best distance control I've ever had and it is difficult to not make a straight takeaway and follow-through. If there is a down-side to this putter it would be the price (about $150), but many good putters cost more. Also, some players may not care for the "funky" design. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Ping Craz-e putter to anyone who is just interested in shaving off a few strokes.

I have used the putter 3 times since purchasing. I have either sunk the golf ball or lagged the golf ball within a foot almost every time. My golfing buddies have commented on the improvement -- and these guys are quick to point out any fallacy or enhancement in our games! The putter feels comfortable and balanced and, with the extra large head and guideline, it adds a level of confidence to my putting the was sorely missing.

This putter has been one of the hottest sellers in my shop. The G2i is a solid 4 out of 5. It's only downfall is lack of distance control on very long putts. The G5i model has fixed that problem with a multi-layered insert. The G5i Craz-e rates 4.5 out of 5 in my book. The feed back and alignment are second to no other mallet type putter. The WINN grip adds a great confidence standing over the ball. Not to mention the blue look is pretty cool.

I love this putter. I can hit almost any putt with it. I also love the sound it makes when you hit the ball with it. I absolutely love it!!!!!!!!!

For years I have used a blade putter and always wanted a little extra weight for better feel. Lead tape was not the answer... This was the first mallet-like putter with all the new technology stuff built into it... I have ever purchased. It does what I wanted it to do....that is it adds more weight into my putting stroke thus for "me" better feel and a smaller compact stroke to boot. I wouldn't say it is the greatest feeling putter I have ever used. The insert is a little bit to "hard" for my liking. But the club has the weight I like and the putts are rolling in the hole. So I can't complain.

love the balance of this putter ,feels very smooth , alittle on the long side for me but i have a friend that will cut an inch off it..very happy

When I first picked this putter up and looked down the line, I could not believe how accurate my alignment was. It is a fairly heavy putter that is vey easy to control. I had no trouble with distance control. I believe everything 10' or shorter is a makeable putt. I have great confidence with this putter. I shot a 77 with an 11 handicap the first tournament I played with this Ping. Two other members of our club have purchased this Ping Craz-E putter after playing in my group. It works!

This putter combines the years of PING technology into a sound and excellent design. This putter sets up square to the ball and allows for a nice solid pass through the ball. There are many putters like this on the market, but PING and its dedication to design and cutting edge technology keeps the putters coming that make sinking the long putts very easy. This putter is a must have!!!

Reasonable price, fast delivery ------ great putter, just as advertised. I rate this as good as any putter on the market today.

I've now put my putter to use 3 times and miraculously my putting has improved dramatically. I know there's no such thing as a magic solution for any part of your game but I must say, this putter changed my technique over night.

The weight and the feel are perfect for me. The item's condition exceeded the sellers rating.
Several of my golfing partners are now interested in a Craz-e putter even though they, as was my case, have not changed putters for many years.

Ping quality is always top notch. I have both this putter and the Ping Ug-le. The Ug-le is center shafted for more of a pure pendulum while this putter is heal shafted for a slight arc approach. I prefer the Ug-le only because it suits my swing better when putting at this time (I do go back and forth between the two approaches). Be sure you know what type of putter suits you best before buying - either way; I have no problem recommending that you buy a Ping (I also have G5 irons)! My third putter is the Nickent Pipe (heel shafted) which I actually prefer over this Craz-e for ease of lining up your puts. It is a sleeper that can be had at a cheaper price. I tried the 2 and 3 ball Odyssey and never could get alignment right with either of them.

I bought this putter for my husband as a surprise, because he was talking about it. He saw the putter at a golf shop, however it was twice as much. The price was super, it was in excellent condition, and he was really surprised when it arrived. Especially when I told him the price.

I love this new putter. The line on the back makes it so much easier to line up long puts and the weight makes short puts a lot easier. I have dropped at least 6 puts every round I have gone from ave 36 puts a round to 27. The price was great and shipping was fast.

I was looking for a specific type of putter and there were plenty to choose from.
My putting has improved lately. I would buy additional clubs on ebay.
