Ping B61 Putter Golf Club

Great Putter! I own several other Ping putters; one of which I have used exclusively for the last 15 years. I received it from my grandfather years ago, so moving to another putter (the B61) was more of a mental than physical issue. While at a Roger Dunne Golf store (Los Angeles) I picked up a steel Ping B61 putter and continued to sink putts from various distances on their practice green. I thought it was time for a change since I had just purchased a gently used set of Ping ISI BeCu Black dots. I shoot in the 80's so I'm not a PGA pro, but understand my game well enough to note differences in performance based on changes to my equipment. THIS PUTTER DELIVERS. I found making the adjustment to this putter to be a smooth transition. While the head is heavier than my previous "played" putter, I love the sight line painted into it. My old (and still loved) putter had always been more of a "feel" experience, while I find this putter is easier to set up straight and sink longer putts. The biggest difficulty I encountered was adjusting for distance because this head was heavier than that of my previous putter. As a result I was stroking the ball slightly softer (I guess attempting to compensate for the weight) and coming up short on my putts. After just three rounds, I had built up my confidence with the B61 putter and we're new best friends! Additionally, it is a beautiful looking putter. When I have friends visit they can choose from about 12-14 putters I have laying around (many are PING) and oddly enough one always picks the B61 putter. If you have one, enjoy it. If you don't, you won't regret the purchase and can find the steel version on Ebay at really good prices. I paid more for my BeCu B61, but you always do for the BeCu. I am also a huge Ping (irons) fan and play them exclusively. Happy hitting!

I love the way it sounds when you hit it in the sweet spot. It is very accurate! I have a Scotty Circa 62 #2 which I love along with a TSX Tour Sync and they are all great, but for the money, the Ping B61 with a Winn grip is the best! I just bought another one just to have as back-up.

I have been using B-61 for 20 yrs.when my clubs were stolen I thought my
putting game was over.This club replaced my club perfectly.
