Ping Anser 3 Putter Golf Club

Basic and classic putter. Not too heavy (like most putters on the parket today,) but not too light. Just enough weight to swing smoothly through the ball. I've tried countless putters (from Odyssey Two-ball down to more-basic styles) and have had the most confidence and best results with this Ping Anser 3. I am consistently getting the right pace, distance and accuracy. Will not use anything else!! Highly recommended and relatively inexpensive compared to new putters.

I've been around these clubs since I was a kid . I worked in a pro shop in the early 70's . What I wish Karsten did was to put serial numbers on these putters . The metal is soft for a good feel but if not cared for they were easily damaged . This one is in good shape . In the 90's the started making what is known as a recast using the same exact molds as the ones made in the60's and 70's .The oldest Phoenix 85029 ( 69 to 71 )putters have a Pro only grip . The next is 85020 ( to 73 ). They went from a physical address to a box address . After this is 85068 till today . Alot of recast are sold as vintage . A seller was offended when I pointed this out .This was not my intention . His club was well worth what I paid . It was not 38 years old , it was app. 8 yers old . They are 100.00 new recast . I paid 47.00 . I'm happy . The one I bought was well cared for . I can tell by it's patina that it is original .

My Ping Anser 3 Putter was exactly as described and I got a real deal on the purchase. I had it re-griped just as recommended for about five bucks with a grip just like the one it left the factory with. It is my third Ping putter. After a lot of practice with it I put it in my bag, but I found that I wasn't quiet as accurate with it as my Ping Zing. My Ping Anser 3 is a proud part of my home putter collection.

I absolutely love this putter. I couldn't recommend any other. BeCu, buttery feel, very precise. The best blade putter ever made!

I bought this putter because I've always liked the Anser style putters,I own an Anser 2 and a Scotty Cameron which has the same look. This one is brass or bronze and it makes an excellent addition to my putter collection. What I don't like about it is, it's not a magical putter!

I never received the article. After paying for it through Pay Pal, it was several months before it was supposedly resolved. i still have no verification that the refund has been made.

SOLID PUTTER,JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHER PING PUTTERS.I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE ANSER 3 IS VERSES ANSER 2 IT SETS UP AND LOOKS JUST LIKE THE ANSER 2.

I used a ping answer putter when I played College golf. I'm struggling with my current putter so I thought I would try a Ping anser putter again. I found this really nice one on ebay I'm really happy with it.

I've tried several brands. I've tried a couple different styles. I've found that the "Old School" putter is more tactile/responsive, and therefore teaches you the corrections you need to make. The quality and reputation of this putter are (in My Humble Opinion) well deserved! When I get to the Short Game, I'll be PINGing Ya!

Great putter. Greatest Value! Most golf history buffs would love a 1967 85029 Scottsdale Anser in their collection let alone their bag but not everyone can spend the $150-$200 on a 40 year old putter. You can get close to the same look and feel with a used Ping Anser 3 for less than $40 and never look back!

Ping putters are used on the PGA tour. So they have to be good putters. Everyone that I have talked to that had a ping putter loved them. Ping anser putters feel good in your hands also great balance.

I am enjoying this putter. I had one just like this one and it was stolen a while back ago. I am happy I have findly found one like it. Thanks

What I really wanted was an older Ping putter that sounds like a chime when putting. I knew that this wasn't one of those, but I purchased it anyway for variety sake. If one putter doesn't work on a given day, maybe another will.

The anser putters in my opinion are still the best putters for feel and feedback there are.You can have your modern putters and your more expensive scotty cameron putters which by the way are copies of the pings.i have tried them all and i still go back to my old anser putter.
