Pineapple Express (DVD, 2009, 2-Disc Set/Unrated)

Judd Apatow hit the jackpot with Pineapple Express. The latest movies he produced where funny but it seems that they were all the same but this one was completely different. It has lots of funny moments and situations, the jokes were great although they turn to be kinda repetitive as the movie moves along. It is full of action and adventure. The story is original, the plot is interesting and very well developed. Loved the soundtrack, the music was great. It has a very fast paced rhythm, a very good thing because the movie never turns to be tiresome to the viewer. The cast is very good, Seth Rogen was excellent with a very funny performance, James Franco was hilarious in a role completely different from what he done before, Danny McBride was a real surprise as Red and the supporting roles from Rosie Perez, Gary Cole, Kevin Corrigan and Craig Robinson were very convincing. In conclusion, Pineapple Express is a movie which only purpose is to entertain. So if you are in the mood of a simple comedy, sit down, turn your brain off, relax and enjoy.

This movie is full of hilarious quotes and scenes as well as awesome action. Gun fights, car chases, explosions, etc. Can't miss this movie. If drug use doesn't bother you, then this is definitely a movie to watch. If it does offend you, deal with it and watch it anyway! Haha.

sooo funny! and some action too.. lol. if u like movies like this.. superbad, knocked up, baby momma, etc. or are a fan of will farrell, jack black, or any other zany comic/actor ull love this. its def an adult twisted humor movie but we laughed the whole time! enjoy!

My husband & I watched this movie yesterday and we laughed so hard, our ribs hurt. This is a really funny movie with some drama. It's pretty fast paced and takes you on twists and turns that are unexpected. I would highly recommend it to anyone although it does contain a bit of profanity and is rated R.

I went into this thinking it would be just another stoner movie, but it was much better than that. I don't smoke and thought the jokes would be childish or something like that while sober but it kept me laughing from beginning to end.

It came like a new dvd movie with no scratches. and it was so much cheaper than what they sell it for in stores. great deal, and very fast shipping. plus i just love that movie to begin with.

This is an explosive "stoner" comedy with plenty of heart as well. Surprisingly a touching story and terrific acting!!! Apatow hits it out of the park again!!!! A-

Hilarious comedy. Seth Rogen and James Franco are part of a great cast. A bond server accidentally witnesses a crime and becomes wanted by the local crime boss. It is a must see that will keep you laughing throughout the entire movie. the bonus edition is awesome with lots of behind the scenes footage and a bunch of other extras. Check it out.

Heard alot about it and ebay is the best place to buy anything I found not just this movie is were to buy anything

The movie is hilarious! We have watched it like six times already! I saw it first like 3 time at the movie thaters and it made laugh so hard that I cried. It doesn't necessarily motivate you to be a pothead but it does make it seem fun. However, they do suffermajor consequences for being potheads. Moral of the story is: don't do pot!

love the movie. Exactly what I was expecting! It was hilarious, as Seth Rogen tends to be. Was looking forward to seeing James Franco play a funny role, and he did awesome! This is a movie I will watch over and over!

I honestly think this is the hardest I've laughed in a movie. Ever. Definitely the best comedy since Wedding Crashers, and in my opinion it's much better and funnier. I'm usually not one to laugh in movies, even when I think they are good movies. Ex: thought Wedding Crashers was good but didn't really laughed, just smiled a lot. But with Pineapple Express I found myself laughing out loud through-out the whole movie. James Franco is excellent in it, even though I was weary because I wasn't crazy of his performance in the Spider-man movies. He was perfect for this. Absolutely hilarious. It runs a little long but the comedy in it really makes up for it. A must if you love comedies!

The movie is HILARIOUS and I loved it. I couldnt stop laughing. The reason I bought this movie is because I saw it in theaters and I just had to have it. I wanted the 2-disc special edition so i could see all the special features... Oh and I love James Franco so I had to get this!!

My son wanted it that was the reason I purchased it. It was a good movie cute and funny at times but also stupid but it is worth buying.

This was a very funny movie with some action. It's like Cheech and Chong meets Chuck Noris. There are alot of ass kicking and great comedy.
