Pinball Hall of Fame (PlayStation 2, 2004)

In order to appreciate this game, you have to have spent time in the arcades! Gottlieb was one of the greatest pinball manufacturers of the 70's and 80's and they make great machines today. These are digitized replicas of the machines they are modeled after.
Great game play and perfect sound effects! Ball physics are unmatched by any other game. Looking for a trip down memory lane? GO for it!!

I'm not really into the gaming thing but when I decided to try Pinball Hall of Fame, I was hooked on this game along with some more of my siblings who are also not familar with the gaming systems. The tables are very realistic looking, sounds are out of this world and game play is just too cool! Now I see why soo many folks stay at the pinball machines in game rooms. No complaints at all even when the ball gets stuck on the table! Highly addictive and so I give this game 5 stars all the way!

I like the graphics, the feeling of playing the old pinball machines. Very easy to play once you figure out to to operate it.

It is somewhat hard to navigate through the game, no good instructions, and some of the games are locked until you figure out how to get to them. There are codes you can look up on the internet for this.

I tried downloading games from the internet to play and you either had to buy them or they froze up the pc. Therefore, I bought this game so that I could play it on my game console instead, more versatile.

This game takes me back to those pinpall games i use tp play--it is great --graphics are nice and it is like the real thing!

Fun game that the whole family can play. Price of the gaame was good. My 4year old daughter can play it.

My daughter has had so much fun with this pin ball playstation game. The booklet that came with the disk looked to be brand new. She has been able to play the games with no difficulties and is with practice running her score up into the high totals.

I had bought PINBALL - Hall of Fames Playstation 2 game and found it as an average game. It was not good in graphics as expected from any PS2 game. But overall quality and theme is good as a PS1 game. Also the game was not so pricy compared to other arcade games.

I like pinball. This PS2 game offers good virtual pinball games with different themes. Taking in consideration it was written for the PS2, the action and game feel are pretty good.

The game is fairy inexpensive now (08/2009) so if you have a PS2 or a PS3 that is backwards compatible, then it is a good investment. Enjoy.

Price was great and I love pinball. You have a choice from the 1950's to the 2000's on the various machines to play.
It works with two players also so you can go head to head.

Pinball Hall of Fame for the PlayStation 2 is a decent game for people who like pinball. There are multiple camera angles, and the tables are true to life copies of actual pinball machines from the 1960s through the 2000s. I wish the TILT sensitivity were not so onerous, and that some of the boards were easier to see, like Genie. It's a fun game, and challenging too. Not much you can do with pinball on a PS2. I got this game because it was cheap and I like pinball. I'm not sorry I bought it, but it probably won't get a lot of play at my house.

It was easy to find and buy. It was cheaper than the store price and was convenient to buy thru ebay.

Compared to the newest Pinball Hall of Fame, via Williams, this one isn't as good. My experience has been with the ball not 'triggering' the response, leaving with you with the game hanging, causing me to restart the game/system.

Other minor glitches are that the ball does some crazy things at times; jumping off the table, going through flippers, as well as other objects on the playing field.

Gottlieb pinball machines were never all that fun, anyways. Most of the games played more like a pachinko machine, whereas they just drain the ball without much action (unless you take your chances tilting them).

If they had the game to re-do, they should have made some of the machines a little more 'lively'. I know that it was some aficionado that wanted to keep the games true to life, but in a case like this, it would have been better to make a few refinements.

I suppose the one feature this and most other pinball games I have played are the controller buttons for the flippers are not in the most ergonomic positions. Would have been better to use the O and the < for left and right flipper instead of the L1 and R1 buttons.

I love pinball - otherwise, I would have been very unhappy.

This order replaced a scratched/non-working disk, I love it! My whole family plays this game together and enjoy the different tables and modes of playing.

Pinball Hall of Fame (PlayStation 2), I bought this for my husband for Christmas this year and its an older game. But myself and my 10 year old daughter and my husband play it all the time. It's really fun. Its the older pinball machines. But i have played it till my hands hurt. We had family come over and they all wanted to play it. It's fun it's fustrating and its a game everyone will want to play...

I am a big pinball lover, this is great! I thought it was just one table, but there are several different tables you can play, and tourneys, and challenges. My kids also love it. Glad I bought it

An older game, none of the bells and whistles of the newer stuff. Hard to get high scores in most of the tables. So just an average rating.

This is a very good pinball game... if you want to relive the past or your childhood, this is the game for you!

I know i've put my share of quarters in some of the pinballs presented in this 1st edition.

Graphics a very good, the pinballs are perfect and very adequate to the smallest detail.

You would want to buy this game and share it with your kids and younger people.

The only thing i would say i like a little less in the 1st on the serie is the tilt fonction witch should have not existed ( if you compare the fonction with the 2nd edition : the williams collection wich in my opinion is great!)

Bought this for my kids ranging from 6 years old to 15, and they love this game! Very realistic with great graphics! This was just as if you were actually playing the real machine! If you love pinball, this game is perfect for you! And if you want a good steady "clean" game, you can't beat a game like this. My 6 year old plays this for hours!
