Pimps Up, Ho's Down (DVD, 2000)

I liked the way it explain the true lite of a PIMP. I had wanted to see it for some time now plus people been tellin me about it.

Interesting film, or better said documentary. I wonder if the info is still valid.
Maybe too much insistance on the pimp views, rather than other actors involved in the phenomenon.

WAAAAAAAAAAY better than American Pimp, this movie is done by the guy that does the 2 HBO docs "Hoookers On The Point". This isn't included in that series for some reason or other but who cares, it blows BOTH of them away. You may see this on HBO on occasion but it wil NEVER be as good as the DVD because all of the scenes with Pimpin' Snooky are cut out of the TV release. The ONLY way to get Pimpin' Snooky is to buy this DVD release and it is WELL worth it. He is HILARIOUS and seems to be the only one of the jokers on this DVD that should be able to call himself a TRUE pimp. Then there is the RIDICULOUS Mr Whitefolks who provides some serious comic relief due to sheer stupidity! This worth the watch and you can usually score it for less than $10 shipped on eBay.
