The book is filled with lots of info, not only on the contest but each recipe comes with nutritional information including exchanges and carb choices as well as color photos. I found it interesting that they said the 1980's was the decade of decadence and a lot of desserts mimic this trend with European inspiration. In fact, four of the five grand prize winning recipes were cakes or tarts. You can get rid of all those little books from past bake-offs, since this has the cream of the crop inside.
