
Pretty good pilates and cardio workout

I do like this Dvd, not as much as the yoga version. I find some of the pilates movements rather hard (I'm not very graceful or skilled in that area!) but you can adjust them and the dvd gives you tips on how to lower the difficulty of the move. It can be hard on the knees so I would first be familiar with Pilates and already be doing some type of cardio, yoga or pilates before starting this video. Or you can skip the standing pilates and focus only on the mat work, working your way up to the standing pilates. Overall, its a great use of pilates, yoga and cardio all rolled into one. I use it combined with the Yoga for Weight Loss for Dummies and find it very helpful and I've lost 6 lbs in one month! (combined with walking, and sensible diet!) A great buy for moderate pilates users and beginners could use it as well with some practice.
