Pikmin (Game Cube, 2001)

Pikmin is one of the most innovative and original games ever made. You play as Captain Olimar who has crashed on an unknown planet must find all the parts to his crahsed spacecraft before he can leave. On the planet he discovers little creatures called pikmin which help him to find all the parts to his spacecraft. In the game you control the pikmin and assign them various task to do, from searching for items to fighting enemy creatures that try to eat them. Your objective is to find all the parts to your spacecraft and leave the planet within 30 game days. To do this you must solve many different puzzles using the pikmin. This is an easy and fun game to play so younger players will enjoy it, but at the same time, it can be very challenging to solve all the puzzles and complete the game within the 30 game days so experienced players will enjoy it as well.
Bottomline: Pikmin is a great strategy game and so unique that you'll get hooked. If you like strategy games then you'll definitely want to try Pikmin.

Here is another favorite for our family. When we first got pikman everyone in our home was excited to play this game. We ended up buying a 2nd copy and 2nd game cube. (We have 7 in our family). Now when we play we see who can get the most done with there pikman before time runs out. Not that this game isn't challenging enough. The pikman are cute and you feel so sad when you leave them behind to there doom. But to pluck more out of the ground is fun also. There ends up being 3 different pikman who can do different things red fights very well. Yellow can carry explosives, Blue can swim in water. RED AND YELLOW CANNOT SWIM thy die in the water which is really sad to see them cry to get out. The game has many challenging creatures who want to eat the pikmon. Pikmon fight the monsters, to advance to new area's to carry ship parts back kill a enemy get your pikmon to carry them back to the ship to get more pikmon. Very good game I highly recommend getting this game for your family.

Its just very entertaining making your own army, killing the giant annimals...its just very creative

I very much like this game. I like this game because it teaches you how to use strategy and teamwork with pikmin it also teaches littler kids the value of teamwork. I only dislike it when my pikmin die they make a sad sound and then comes a blue red or yellow spirit depending on what color they are.

I like that you get to control red, blue and yellow pikmin to collect your missing ship parts after you crash land on what is Earth millions of years leter. It's not one of those games about violence, but it is very good about teaching you to survive. Truly a wonderful Game for ANYONE!!!!!!!

My 9 year old son loves playing this game. He had Pikmin 2 already and wanted to try this too. He has a wii, but it plays gamecube games. This game has held his interest for weeks and weeks. He loves the characters and the challenges of this game. Highly recommended.

This is a great game with hours of fun. This game is addictive. My son played this game, then got my husband into playing it. They have beat this game over and over and still love it. They rate this game one of their top 5 video games of all time.

This game may be considered old now but it's still entertaining.
It was one of the first games I ever played on Gamecube and I still love it.

Delivered as promise it took awhile because of the payment methods but everthing worked out good.

I’ll try not to use the words ‘innovative’ or ‘original’ when describing this game, but I must say creative. This game, in my opinion, represents the highest peak of creativity that any console game has delivered to date. It may be difficult for some tough-guys to get past the obvious and deliberate marketing of this game towards children, but I can’t help but consider this as one of my favorite games. Pikmin has given birth to an entirely new concept of strategy.

Dividing your small army appropriately amongst tasks of varying importance and danger requires strategy, skill, and the ability to multi-task. It is easy to defeat this game, but not so simple to satisfy yourself. I always felt throughout the game that I could do better, losing less pikmin and gaining more parts in less time. There really is no limit to how efficiently you could solve this game. Every person that plays this will see it from a unique perspective, and therefore employ their own strategy.

This game is an absolute must own for anyone that has a genuine appreciation for the game as an art medium. 9.6/10

This game was awe-inspireing and amazing. It was original, and kept my attention throughout the game. Unfortunatly, it was a fairly quick play (I was done in a little over a week), but the replay value is reasonable as well.

Pikmin is an awesome game. I bought it for my daughter's birthday and got it at an excellent price. There is no other place to shop than Ebay. I have never had any problems and have been satisfied with everything I've bid on.

Great game and soo original, hard to beat though b/c you have to be managing the time through out the game (you only have "30" game days to beat it. But really original one of the must have games. Its a player choice game for a reason. For people who dont know what player choice it means that you can get the games in most stores for $19.99 or less so theres a way to save some money b/c some of the people selling video games on ebay sometimes rip people off

This is one of my fav games. This is such an addictive game. You could tell yourself I'm only gonna play for an hour but it lasts for 4 hours.

It's a good game. It allows for a lot of free movement and makes you think. You have 30 days to collect 30 items from your broken ship. A lot of it takes some getting used to and careful planning. There are multiple endings and each one can be seen by completing the game with a different number of ship parts retrieved.

The game is a good time waster but you can beat the game in one day if you really want. My first time playing I got 28 of the 30 parts without any kind of strategy guide. It's not a brain buster but it's good for kids to learn problem solving and adults with it's freedom.

I found a few auctions where it went for $5-$8 including S&H so it's not necessary to spend anything more and it's surely not worth spending anything more

The game had very few scratches and worked great. It shipped fast and got here in only a few days. The seller is a great ebayer and I would buy from this person again.

This will play on both the Wii and game cube. It's nnot worth to buy just the Wii version. It's much better to get the game cube one so that you have the option of playing it on 2 seperate systems. My son LOVES this game!

This game is a classic Gamecube game. Pretty sweet graphics for the Gamecube and the storyline is just epic.... GET IT!

I liked the game it was very different from the rest and I might order number 2 since I liked the first one. It was mailed quickly and everything was done in a very timely manner.

It was sealed in new condition as stated in the auction. I purchased it for my grandsons to play while at my house. They love this game. I am happy with this purchase and would buy from this seller again.
