Picture Stories from the Bible (1980, Hardcover)

When I was a child (45 years ago), my parents bought this book. I think it was because I was an avid comic book reader and they wanted a more positive influence for me. It worked. This is the first and only book I know of that tells the stories of the Bible in comic book format. The original version was
included both old and new testaments. To be more attractive to people of different faiths, the newer editions have broken them into two separate books. For my purposes, I bought both.
I loved it then and my grandchildren love it now. The stories are timeless.
