The picture is everything you could ask for in a film of this era. However, the sound quality is very poor; even after turning the volume up to maximum on the DVD player and the TV, the sound was so poor we could barely hear the dialog and unable to hear many portions of it altogether.

) This is such a good movie. The acting is so good. Dorian Dray becomes such a horrible person you wonder how he can live with himself. Angela Lansbury is so young and very good in her role. Old black and white movies are so much better than those made today. This is definitely a must see movie.

I enjoy the movie and glad Angela Lansbury is talking on it.I may buy a second one for a gift.This is a lod movie but a great one. So this is why I purchased it.

) DVD copy is clear, chisp copy of an excellent movie, filled with Oscar Wilde amusing quips. A very young Angela Landsbury displays her excellent singing voice and, it goes without saying, excellent acting. George Sanders, as usual, is the excellent caustic heavy.l
