Photoshop 7 for Windows and Macintosh by Elaine Weinmann, Peter Lourekas (2002, Paperback, Illustrated)

This is a very good book for starters and fairly knowledgable users, it has a lot of good information and better yet examples to follow to produce some stunning results.

I owned a copy a while ago that detailed on how to add that cool Duftopia transparent watermark to my pictures and it was in a 1.2.3.4 your done format, which there are many of in the book, but I sold it on eBay, NOW i miss the book and got the one and found NOT ALL EDITIONS ARE ALIKE, they dropped the real cool item i wanted and added not so cool items to it. shuffled things abot and so on.

This is very very common in college textbooks so this book might be design for the educational system, however I was disappointed in it for that.

Please not, the book is good and borderline on excellent, its great as I stated for starters but don't get attached if yo lose it or sell it you won't find the exact copy again, it not a book that grows but rather one that changes edition after edition.

This book becomes confusing for the reader as it tends to jump around from page to page. One page discusses Windows and the next discusses Macintosh. This could become very confusing for those who are not well versed in either or well versed in one rather than both. There are other choices of tutorial based books concerning Photoshop for Windows and Macintosh.
