Philips PET708 7 in. Portable DVD Player with Screen

We purchased this product to keep the kids busy on long drives. I don't know what it is but the kids will watch the same show over and over again in the car...probably the 'neatness' of watching TV there. The player mounted easily and quickly in our chevy venture, volume was loud enough and the picture quality pretty good. The only con was that on successive hard bumps(potholes) the dvd would 'unmount' while playing and someone had to remount the dvd. The remote works fine also. Overall a good product.

We love this DVD player! It mounts securely in the car and has a great picture. The picture on this DVD player is far better than any other on the market.

The dvd player overall is ok. One thing that should be watched more carefully when buying this particular item is that it doesn't work on all vehicles. In our Dodge Van we don't have a movable headrest. We really needed one with straps that wrap around the headrest not one that actually goes around the bars. Also like many other electronics it has lots of wires to hook here and there, so make sure you buy a new one because if you buy used or one that the box was opened then you are likely to have some missing parts.

I purchased the PET1002 which is working great so far. Great Item for the money, which they still manufactured them.

We have only used it around
the house so far, so I don't
know how it will be on a trip,
but it works great when we did
use it, so I am sure it will
do fine on a trip as well.

Good product,Pictute is very clean,Good sound.But some noice is comming while reading the disc.But overall is good DVD Player.

i like the 2 monitor setup but i dont like all the wiring needed. as you see in the pic the are no wries hooked up but when you get it there are wires all over. i also dont like the fact that you can not operate both monitors off the battery infact you can not even use the battery with the car headrest fixtures. other than that this product seems to be pretty good

Works great. Even on these bumpy Pennsylvania roads I have not had any problems with skipping. I would also recommend using an FM Transmitter with this product. The kids love it.

Very quick delivery, and very resonably priced. One of the lowest prices for the quality which was brand new. Product was as described, and in great shape. My Child will love it. Thanks
