The 6630 is a 30GB digital media player. It has a backlit touch strip feaure, a color screen that allows picture browsing (slideshows accompanied by music as well), an album art and the usual set of Philips features - SuperScroll, ID3 library-type 'o' browsing and playlists-on-the-go. Battery life is far from skimpy: 15 hours (speed charging up to 70% battery capacity in one hour supported). There is also an integrated FM tuner, as well as a voice recorder. PlayForSure compatibility is included in the package deal. Some more important accessories are: A splash-proof case with "integrated control pad", a docking station that can act as a recharge, an AV-out (tv and audio) and data transfer (USB2.0) base and a remote control.

    I love my new MP3player from Philips. I love how easy it is to use, all the options & how nice it is to look at. Holds TONS of songs, has a FM tuner, recording option and picture slideshow. This MP3 player is easier to use than my Husbands Sony & has more storage. Both his sony and this Philips feel nice and sound, much better quality than the Ipod. With 30GB of memory I don't think I will fill it up anytime soon. I really like the photo slideshow put to your favorite music. I'm glad I purchased this item & I use it everyday. I think it is a great buy. I paid $245 at my local Best Buy and got the cradle and remote free.

    This is the best MP3 player for the money, PERIOD! It compares well with some of the others that cost $400+++ and these are only $300 brand new. I have never had any problems with it and it's sooo simple to use. I also like the fact that is stores pictures. I put pictures on it and bring it to friends and familys houses and just plug it into their tv. I don't have to develope film now. The Best!!
