Philips DCP750 7 in. Portable DVD Player with Screen

I bought this dvd player to send to my husband in Afghanistan. He loves it! He said the other guys love it too and they've never seen one like it that can also play your iPod. Since his iPod wont stay on unless it is charging, it works great because it charges while it is plugged in. And it fits his 80gig iPod, which I wasn't sure of when I bought it. So far, I haven't heard anything bad about it! Oh, and the video in/out will let him plug in a video game system when he can get one.

I loved the idea of being able to plug my iPod into the DVD player and taking my movies where ever I wanted. Unfortunately, my iPod is too new; it wasn't compatible with the DCP750. It would have required an additional cable, which defeated my purpose to begin with.
But, the seller GREAT to work with in getting it all square. I appreciate their help immensely!!! and would do business with them again if the need arose.

GREAT little unit! Clear display, functions well. Love the two jacks for headphones. The remote rocks! Only thing I'd request of the manufacturer is the ability to control volume from the remote. But alas, it is normally within arms length of the user. Good bang for the buck. If you buy it on eBay, pay a few extra bucks for the SquareTrade Warranty! The peace of mind is so worth it!

I am very please with the replacement one the first one had alot of problems but this one works like a charmm.

How do you rate a seller who exceeds your expectations? The item, a portable dvd player when received was very safely shipped and organized as well. Like new! A highly recommended seller!

I was surprised to find that the item was used when I received and opened the box. I went to the listing to find that it was not listed new, or used. I realize that they probably received better bids by not listing the condition. I gave them more credit than I should. It was my mistake but I was certainly aided in taking too much for granted.

For the money, it's a pretty cool player. Very simple to use. The battery life is ok, seems to last over 2 hours. The battery does not charge while the player is use, the power switch must be in the OFF position. It seems pretty sturdy and a nice size and weight, and the sound quality is fair. For better sound quality use ear buds.

The only real disatifaction I have with the player is the pic quality varies with screen position. Quality varies from super sharp to terrible horizonal lines. If this keeps up, I'll have to return it.

what i like about the dvd player is that its a 2fer. In that, I can use it as a dvd player or use an ipod to play movies or songs.

I purchased this item hoping it would have the features I wanted. I received it fairly quick in good condition. There were a few issues with the item purchased that did not meet my expectations. I called customer service and they took care of the problem immediately with no questions asked. Great doing business!!!

I love that this device has a remote, ipod doc and not to mention the helpful items such as a wall and car charger. This item has performed amazing for me.

This was a re-conditioned product and it didn't operate properly after just a few *hours* of use. I was very disappointed.

I like the various media used with this player. I have used it in place of my set-top DVD player because it is easy to connect and disconnect. This player will do on it what I was doing on three (3) different devices. I do not need my computer to watch my pictures. I do not need my iPod adapter to listen to my iPod and I already mention my set-top DVD player.

Got this dvd for a long trip with a two year old. It works great! I don't have an IPOD yet, but I am sure I will be getting one soon to pop into this dvd player!! What a bargain!

I bought this dvd player to sell back on Ebay or give away, but after I saw the thing it can do I'm keeping it for myself. I love the size the color the features, everything about it. It makes my iPod movies bigger!

I really like my phillps item it plays well and the screen is very clear. Its gets loud enough for you to hear the movies or cd's. and the ipod player works very well too. I just love it. thanks again

I decided to buy the DVd Player because this is the second time I 've purchased A DVD Player from this seller. The other one I purchased was a Dual Player and its great and this one is just great .

The dvd player is all that I expected. Quite a buy and I saved about $40 vs buying at store. Quick shipment, I will buy form this seller aging.

I had to return my first one for an exchange. It worked fine for the first couple of movies and then wouldn't read disks. The second one I recieved as an exchange reads the DVD's sometimes and others will not load at all. I bought this for my 2 year old daughter for road trips/vacation. We ended up buying a seperate cheaper DVD player about half way to our destination because it wouldn't load (...and you can imagine the patience and understanding we got from our 2 year old that our DVD player was defective). The IPOD dock is neat, although only our older gen. IPOD works with it. Requires a special cable for the newer IPOD to work with this product. Although the product is a reman the appearance of the item is not 'like new' or anywhere near. Case is very scratched up and notedly used.

The quality of the picture is great, but I did not expect such a scratched up cover. On the other hand, I could see, on de his box, that was a renewed item, which doesn’t make me feel glad.

I use this product mainly for travelling because it meets perfectly my expectation:
1. Light and easy to cary
2. Support DVD, ipod and SD which are very popular and convenient
3. Screen size is perfectly good for watching on air plane
I went thru some other product which either more expensive or lack of features.
850 my be better with larger screen size. But to me this size is best match for my purpose.
