    Bought this HDTV for the World Cup, didn't realise that we had HD broadcasts over the air, put in a homemade antenna, and got every game (dish and local), Then when to the Philips website, and found updated user manuals, and software releases, via the usb port on my computer and hooked to the usb on the HDTV, everything was automatic, and everything worked the 1st time. You may have to be a little computer savey, or just read the instruction manual good, but this TV is well worth the money, and the remote is not intimidating to my wife. I sold TV's in the 60 thru 80's and none were as impressive at this. I recommend this HDTV and you will be pleased. Thanx
