Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II Plus (Game Cube, 2004)

This is the 1st 2 chapters of the Phantasy Star ONLINE saga. Chapater 1 is a updated port of the Classic Sega Dreamcast games and Chapater 2 is a Totaly New chapater that takes place around 6 Months after. This was a Awsome Action/RPG game that brought back the Phantasy Star series to life, after being dead for over 6Years. This isn't a MMORPG tho, as you are limited to 4 player teams and a limit amount of areas with random sets of dungeons. It however is FUN if you love repeatidly doing missions and killing over&over. This PLUS version also contains 5 additional OFFLINE Quests that were previously ONLINE Only and also encludes challenge mode Missions for Ep2 that were also originaly ONLINE Only, there is also some Bugs fixed. The servers for this game however go down April 2007, BUT there are MANY Free Private Servers, just look for Schthack's or HomeBase or NeoBlast's Solaris servers!

the difficulty automatically matches your experience onywhere on the game.

The camera angles were easily rectified by pulling the L trigger. As far as gameplay goes it's not a complete button mesher, you have to hit the buttons in rhythm...however there are only two melee attacks, light and heavy. The spell system is fun but has limited spells. The game defined addiction and lead to games like Diablo 2 and others of it's class but lacked some essiential components to be a great game. Short, only 2 episodes on this one but there are 5 different skill levels and 100s of items to customize your character with. The online realm has seemingly died which takes away a lot from the game, but if you have 2-3 friends to play with you can obtain hours of countless fun. Overall don't pickup if you don't have friends to play it with.

Phantasy Star Online Episodes I&II Plus (GameCube) is one of the best games I own. The offline gaming offers lots of missions to complete and beautiful virtual landscapes. Their are countless weapons to obtain as well. There are several different types of characters that you may choose to play: hunters, rangers, and magic wielders. You can be either human or android, male or female. I really like being able to make my character look however I want. I can change their hight, their weight, their skin color, their outfit, their hair do, etc. The game play is magnificently engaging, there is always something to do. This game has Lots of replay value.

The only thing that didn't wow me was the fact that this game is not different from PSO Episodes i&II (not the Plus) hardly at all. It just has more missions and weapons that before you could only download online. Even so, this was an excellent game and it was well worth the purchase.

My brother has the previous version of the game, and since we live far apart now, I decided to get myself a copy as well. I'm really glad I did.

It's an ok game, if you like RPG's then you'll love it, but if you don't you'll get tired of it after awhile, but it is a rare gamecube game.

This game is 1 of the best rpg out there the charcter costumization was unreal.

My husband and I played this game for hours and hours again. Even after we played it too much, and got burnt out on it, a month or two later we would pick it up again, and start playing. We have played this on and off for the past few years. We really got our moneys worth out of this game!!! The character customization is unreal! We loved this game so much that we bought the "Plus" version, and got addicted all over again!

We love this game. we had to buy some more because we had 4 differant household
playing the dame game. I still need to get one more. I just couldn't get it when I bought the othe two. I didn't have the money to get the other one at the time. Never did get to play online though.

I've been a fan of the Phantasy Star games since I can remember. This one in particular, came out for the GameCube and I started playing it with a friend of mine while I still lived in California. While the graphics aren't the best and there isn't much randomity, its addicting and I can never get enough. Since then I moved to Florida and was never able to find a copy. I came to eBay to find what I wanted and sure enough, I did! And what's better, I found it brand new and still factory sealed! I've been playing ever since it arrived and don't expect to ever get bored with it! I suggest, to anyone looking for a great game, to get their hands on this one!

One of the most engrossing games I've played in a long time, Phantasy Star Episode I and II has it all. Combat, spells, hundreds of weapons, awesome armor and incredible machines.

I have been playing PSO since dreamcast, and this is a fun game. Sadly, the online servers are killed, but 1 player mode is fun. This game has a lot of gameplay to it, since it is two episodes. You can carry your character from Ep 1 to Ep 2, so leveling up is key.

You can choose many different races, each having their own strengths and weaknesses.

PSO offers hundreds of hours of game play. With the addition of the new quests included in the Plus Version, it offers more challenges which will keep you playing and leveling up your character. I highly recommend this game if you like live action RPGs. If you enjoy playing games such as Diablo II, chances are you will enjoy this game as well.

The only downfall is the price because this game isn't made anymore. However, even with the steep price for this old game, it offers a high replay value and I think is worth the cost.

This is the best GC game that has ever come out... Great to play with friends and i think everyone should have a copy

This game is on my Top 5 list of all time. This is a true classic and videogaming at its best. The gamecube version Plus is the best out of the console versions except for Blue Burst on the PC.

I started playing PSO on the Dreamcast and my love for the game has never died out. Only true masterpieces can do this. The Gamecube version offers Two quests that were exclusive online only The East and West Tower. Both of these are brutal missions and a fantastic challenge. If you get a change buy the HD cables for your gamecube or better yet you WII since they are cheaper. The game plays in progressive scan is just beautiful after all these years.

You can even play online now on private servers so the fun will never end.

well i borrow PSO 1 & 2 from a friend and like it so i decide to buy my own and found this PSO 1 & 2 Plus so i bought it i like its rpg style and game play and its offline mode with my friends the only problem is the stupid camera u have to keep hitting the left tab to see any thing in front of u when u move around but other then that its a really nice game.

Our Son recieved this as a Christmas present and he states that he likes the game because you can design your very own character. You can also go online and meet with your and meet new friends. The only thing that he does not like about this game is that it does not have a selective story line. Otherwise he likes the game.
