Pflueger Trion 1912 Fly Fishing Reel

The Pflueger Trion 1912 is a perfect 10/12wt reel for the newbie getting into fly fishing heavier 30-50lb fish. I used this reel for the first time in 2008 going for Tarpon in the Florida Keys. I have caught several Tarps and the reel held up with no problems. The only drawback is that it's not made in USA but I like to judge it by it's performance and it proved to be part of my arsenal. I now fish with a Ross but still use it as a backup reel or a loaner whenever we go for larger game. For the price, it performed well and at a very affordable price. It's a good buy for under $150.00

I highly recommend it for a the avid fly fisher as a backup reel or for the enthusiast getting started.
