The quality of this all B&W DVD is poor. It doens't even have the original soundtrack opening music. Knockoff I think. The bonus is absolutely ridiculous. Don't buy, unless you are desperate for this old, old video.

This in not season one, it is a selection of season ones shows. The shows are very interesting, but if you want the complete season one, this is not it.

The past relived. You can't beat the shows back then. The simple life they played. We can sit and watch shows like this all day. We don't have shows like this now a days. We like to go back in time and remember.

I try to purchase videos of the premier episodes of shows that I enjoyed. This DVD had the entire season one on it at a price lower than I expected to pay for just the premier episode.

This was a Valentine's gift for my wife who mentioned that she would love to see Petticoat Junction again. The quality wasn't "TV Quality" but I knew before hand that that was the case. She was thrilled with the gift and my two kids still at home have enjoyed watching as well.

I really liked seeing the older black and white episodes only thing wrong with this video is that the theme song has been dubbed with some bluegrass song(sounds like the Dillard s)Legal problem with using the opening song I guess!One great thing is seeing sierra #3 or the Cannonball. The train is in its tv heyday,it is currently awaiting restoration.

FLASH BACK TO A DIFFRENT TIME with MORALSI watched this show as a child. I was nostalgic when I saw it offered on Ebay. I ordered it and was happy that I got it. The thing that I missed was the opening song being sang. The original was just music and 2 of the female actors were not the ones I grew up, I missed seeing Merideth MaCray and the dark haired girl. I'm glad I got it. This order gave me quite a few episodes that were nice and my children loved seeing what mom and dad use to watch in the "GOOD OL dAYS" It took a while for it to arrive but I was happy none the less. The shipping cost could have been lower but I guess you can't have it all ie... Fast, good and cheap. My best rating B+
