Petrified Wood by Frank J. Daniels (1998, Hardcover)

I have cherished my signed copy of Franks Petrified wood book and even had some of the other pieces that were parts of his fine color photography book. If you are a petrified wood collector, this book is THE book for your reference library. Excellent reading, and by far the best color pictures of petrified wood, cycads, ferns and seed cones. 420 full color photos, 169 pages, hard cover. $75, expensive~ maybe to some,but a great book at even double the price. I saved up for a year to buy my copy from Walt Wright!
For further reading his newest "Ancient Forest" book has even more tech. info and more microscopic photos. Frank is king of the woods of the world in my book! Frank resides in Colorado, USA and is not far from Arizona, Utah, Wyoming wood areas he covers well. A must have book! You won't be sorry.
