Peter and the Wolf and Tubby the Tuba by George Kleinsinger, Serge Prokofiev (1998, Audio Cassette)

This was recommended to us in our homeschool curriculum, KONOS. As part of our unit studies in Attentiveness. Music is just like a story book. You just have to listen for the story. These two narrated books dramatized by music were wonderful examples to start with for our 5 year old. We used this as a lead-in to the classic composers. We read the book first, then listened to this audio book with the music to dramatize. My son asks to listen to it over and over when we're doing crafts and such.
