Pet Sematary (DVD, 2000, Sensormatic)

I am a Stephen King fan and of course any book or movie pertaining to his stories is my passion. This is an older movie but I had not added it to my collection. It follows the book very closely and is one of the better movies based on a Stephen King novel.

I had to wait until someone else in the house was up and moving around before I even thought about going to sleep..the book scared the hell out of me..the film does too..a young Couple along with the little Boy and Daughter move into a house set on a hill by a dangerous road they later learn a pet Sematary close by was set up because of the pets killed on the dangerous road...not heeding their new neighbors (played by Fred Gwynn Herman Muenster fame) warning about the road they go about their lives only to have their hearts broken when their pet Cat Winston Churchill nicknamed Church dies..Later as he attempts to play God he ressurrects the dead cat only to find out sometimes the dead is better left dead..he does not learn his lesson..when their youngest is killed in an accident on the road another mistake is made and hell opens up in their backyard..I give this scary film 5 out of 5 bars!!

I owned a copy of this movie when it first came out on VHS and loved it.I am a great fan of Stephen King.I saw this movie with my kids and now enjoyed watching it with my grandkids and still got scared.This is the king of story that stays with you forever.Thanks

This was a fairly good movie and it scared the stuffing outta my kids. The special effects were alright and the story line ran well with the book. I wish the movie had done more character build up and lead in like the book. It was entertaining.

Was looking for this movie for my husband and found it here. The Seller was great by getting the movie to me in a timely fashion. Will buy from them again. Also the movie played great. thanks

It is an excellant movie from Steven King. The book to me isn't as good as the movie. It is a great Halloween movie to watch. It still keeps me on the edge of my seat. Steven King always comes out with scary and sometimes funny scary movies.

I decided to buy this movie because I loveed the movie when I was younger and I had it on VHS and the tape got ruined, so I found this one on DVD on Ebay! I love it.

I COLLECT STEPHEN KING BOOKS/ FILMS AND THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST. MANY OF THE DVD SALES PLACES HAVE, AT BEST, A LIMITED SELECTION OF THIS TYPE OF MOVIE PLUS THE PRICE WAS VERY GOOD!

I love horror movies and wanted to add this one to my collection. I got it for a really good price. The story of the little boy was heartbreaking and what you will do for love.

Really glad I found the movie. My nephew loves it. Hard to find movie....glad I did. Great surprise for Christmas.

i like the movie very much, it has a little distraction in the movie torwards the end, do to the fact that it is scratched.
