Nancy Cohen writes the "Bad Hair Day Mystery" book and they are full of snappy humor! Her heroine is Marla Shore, a sassy beauty salon owner from South Florida who can fix hair and find trouble all at the same time.

In this 8th book, we find Marla at a hair show where Christine Parks, Luxor Products company director, is found dead....face down in a foot bath in her hotel room. It is in Marla's nature to snoop and it doesn't take her long to discover that everyone Christine worked with had a reason to hate her. Christine was involved in serial cheating, blackmail and giving bad investment advice. The list of possible suspects was endless. When a top model with some secret info for Marla turns up dead, things go from bad to worse. Behind the dazzle of Florida's hottest beauty show something very ugly is happening. Marla has to be careful or she could find herself at the wrong end of this murder investigation.
I have read all Ms. Cohen's books and love her wit and humor and bravado, plus throw in her romance with Detective Dalton Vail and you have a number one cozy. So far there have been no 'bad' books by Ms. Cohen.....they just get better.
