Classic metal at it's best.

I was never really big on Deep Purple. I did like some of the big hits,"Smoke on the water" and such. Until Perfect Strangers came out in 1984. The album had a raw essence to it that sucked me in. But over the 20 odd years since it's release and the fact that I no longer own a cassette player, I hadn't heard it in some years. Until a friend reintroduced to this great album. Thus E-BAY!
This album with instant classic's such as "Knockin at your backdoor", "Nobody's Home", "Hungry Daze" and the title track "Perfect Strangers" are great examples of what made Deep Purple a standard in classic metal.
The Bonus track included on the remaster "Son of Alerik" is not really that much of a bonus, it neither helps or hinders the album.
If you are looking for a great classic metal album, that's a little outside the 80's hair band genre, you won't go wrong with Deep Purple's Perfect Strangers.
