Perfect Strangers: The Complete First & Second Seasons (DVD, 2008, 4-Disc Set)

Plain and simple on this one. If you have the chance to buy it DO IT!! If you can rent it--Take it back late!! If your neighbors got it --STeal IT!!! This is just as funny as I remeber and you don'thave to be a 30 something to appreciate it. My teen age kids are loving every episode and they are all new to them. Not to mention the fact of the differnece in clarity this time around on dvd versus watching it in the 80's via rabbit ears. Crystal clear makes it even better!! This is truely wholesome family fun at its very BEST!! Get it Now!! Thats just this guys opinion. If you have found this review helpfull your yes vote would be greatly appreciated!! We enjoyed the show when it was on television and wanted to buy the DVD. What a wonderful show!! It is so much fun to watch a show and really laugh! We can laugh at the English language and how 'old sayings' can be confusing. We haven't watched all the episodes yet but there have been no profanity or sexual innuendo. I would recommend it to everyone who loves good, clean, fun!!

I recorded most episodes on my VCR about 14 years ago and have not stopped watching them since. Loads of laughs for all the family for all ages. i had some episodes missing but managed to get the whole set by ordering the Complete First & Second Seasons on DVD. The DVD's are in excellent condition and i can't wait for the other seasons to be produced on DVD too.

This was one of the most hilarious shows on tv. I've been waiting for it to come back like Happy Days or Full House, but this is better can watch the funny anticks of Larry and Balki in my own home. You want a good laugh, this tv series is a must have! Excellent.

Great shows from the late 80's to early 90's! Hard to find! Really funny
I was searching for these shows for a while. They were hard for me to find. The seller was excellent. The Dvds are great I can watch the lod shows without commercials.

Finally the greatest T.V. Show of all time comes to DVD. I still recall watching this show on T.V. when I was younger and can remember some of the great episodes including the premiere episode of when Balki comes to America and is looking for Cousin Larry. Who can forget the episode when Balki and Larry change the shower head in the girl's apartment. I still laugh at the thought of this episode. This DVD box set is a must to own. Don't miss out on the funniest show ever produced on Televison.

If you were young in the 80s and remember the 'dance of joy' & Balkie's 'Don't be redikalus', it's a fun look back.

I love this sitcom, it's the funniest out there !! Supersweet Balki and Larry with his hilarious facial expressions. Priceless.

My whole family loved Perfect Strangers. I watched it as a kid, but every episode was like watching it for the first time. I just laughed and laughed.

Perfect Strangers is my favorite show of all time and i'm so happy to have the two seasons on DVD. They work great.

I remember this series from when I was a kid. A great trip down memory lane. I was surprised how many of the episodes I remembered. A little cheesey now that I'm older, but still a good show.

I love these old tv series, to me they are classic. And you have to love these two actors, specially the foreign cousin, he is so believably innoscent, I saw an interview once with his co-star and he said the reason he was so believable is because he in real life was that way too. Great, must own. I love too that this is something my daughter can watch with me, todays shows, reality shows and what not are not something I care for her to see.

I missed perfect Strangers for so long watched this as a child then along comes this great thing called ebay :-) In Australia we dont get as many dvd releases as the US (slackers). So we went without or went to our local dvd store & imported but not any more one click on ebay (make payment) & its yours & it doesnt take as long as a dvd store. Perfect Strangers was a international shipment & took I think 2 weeks :-) I'm happy

This was a very interesting series. It made me realize just how different two different cultures cn really be. It was based on the idea that one person knew the culture and a relative that did not know the culture came to live with him. It shows how much difference there can be between the cultures.

I think this show is genuinely funny, it's very clever and very endearing. I put it on expecting it to be 80's corny humor, but it's really not, just the opening title is, but even that is FUNNY because it's now dated, and dated is funny. I love this show, I'm happy i bought this DVD, I don't know why this series isn't shown on TV anymore.

My ebay experiences have been mostly excellent. I bought this dvd because I loved the sitcom when it was on tv and so did my kids. It was in excellant condition and every bit as funny as I remembered. I love the davantage of ebay and being able to find things online that aren't available in my area. Thanks Ebay!!!
