Pentax Optio W80 12.1 Megapixel

This little camera its fantastic for underwater photography. It's beautifull and small, and the quality of the photographs is VERY good. I'm a photography aficionado (have a Nikon D80) and this is a great camera. you should have another compact for everyday use (pics in dry are a little noisy) but if you want a camera to use in the pool, the beach or skying, it is the only one with a 5X optical zoom and the only one that can go 5 meter down below.

This camera produces pictures that are extremely grainy. I was very disapointed. Other than that, ok.

This is a very nice compact digital camera. The lens doesn't protrude so you can not dent it if dropped. The rubber bumpers are an excellent addition.

Draw back is it is hard for me to open the door for the battery and memory card. But my husband opens it very easily. Even that has protection from the water.

So far the camera seems very user friendly, and even though it is complex, it is still easy to use. I haven't really had the chance to do a lot with it, but so far I have no regrets in buying it. Most of all, I like the fact that it is so compact, and no lens protrudes from the camera when you zoom in. The large viewing window is a definite plus as well. I would recommend this camera for anyone who would like a slim camera, doesn't mind spending a little bit more, and wants a few hazard features such as dropping it (in the water, or on a rock).

I love everything about this camera!!! It is easy to use and is the most handy in every situation possible. It is perfect for beach life!!!

It's light weight but feels solid. USB connection is stored inside with battery and memory card to protect it from dirt and water. Large viewing screen, high res pictures with 12mp. Easy to use, has a small grip bump on front that makes it easy to grip with the finger tips while shooting. Way to go Pentax...keeping up with the times.
