Pentax K-7 Body only 14.6 Megapixel

I bought the Pentax K-7 three weeks ago and was impressed with the number of features available on this handy but well-built DSLR. The size of the camera is perfect for for my wife on her small hands, which is almost impossiblly found from other brands. It's not super light weight due to its high-quality metal body frame, but she can live with that. So far she is impressed with the functions and is still learning to use it, and we have already found some good things such as water-proof and long lifespan of the the battery. I'd recommend the camera if you're looking for a quality DSLR for a small hand user - e.g., perfect for lady.

I loved dealing with Beach Camera. They were professional and sent the items just as promised. I was weary about making such a large purchase on eBay, but after I inquired about their reputation, I felt comfortable, and I'm glad I did!

I have been interested in photography since my teens (some decades ago) and over that time have owned various SLRs from all the main producers, and the brand for which I came to have most affection over the years was Pentax.
My last camera was a Pentax K10 digital SLR, which I found excellent, but recently I could not resist looking over a K7 as being the latest in the line: its solidly made, compact, and handsome body, plus its technical excellence and its elegant and comprehensive, yet relatively easily followed, menu structure etc, resulted in my taking the plunge and buying one.
I am glad to say that I have no regrets about having taken this rather expensive plunge, because it is the most satisfying camera I've ever owned, definitely even better built and more "intuitive" to use than the K10, (and, for me at least, preferable to the comparable offerings from Canon, Nikon, and Olympus).

I am a life long Pentax SLR user from the 80's let me say you got to love the ability to us the Pentax lens from years past. Let me tell you Pentax do one thing great and that is they know how to keep it simple but powerful.
