) Works with my MAC. It works with the software I use for keeping track of receipts. Without having all that paper build up at the desk. I can just file them then look them up and find the in the file folder later. It also works with photos and most other software I have. It was a good value. And I love the ease of use, portability & that it is USB powered. It scans buses card and makes them ready for my address book with out a whole lot of changes.

) First, let me tell you I am an avid computer user of all technologies (both PC, Mac, Linux, etc.).
These scanners are CRAP!!!!. Out of the box I found them to work very poorly.
The software is limited. The scanner takes the pages in, but looses traction and then it is scanned at an angle.
The quality of the scans are EXTREMELY poor. Adjustments are too great even for the software to handle.
I highly recommend looking into Visioneer Strobe 300 or 200 XP using their software. You can not beat it.
Pentax needs to stay where they are well suited - cameras; not computer scanner.
