Pelonis FlexiFurnace-It's All That

I bought this model because the most important thing about an electric space heater is that it has a safe design:
1) It is a true DISC-type, not a ceramic grid. The disc design is superior to a grid. The round heating elements sandwich a layer of nichrome between
two pieces of white ceramic. It's safe and efficient.
2) It has a base which raises heater a few inches off floor. I feel safe using it on a carpet (I wouldn't use it on a deep shag rug).
3) I know it's reliable and safe because I have three other Pelonis heaters: The brown "Safe-T-Furnace" model, from 1986; a white "Ceramic Safe-T Furnace" from the 1990's; and a brown "Original Disc Furnace" that's 3 years old. All work great (even the 23-year old heater). They're as good as they claim.
4) At $40.00 it was a bargain. The price for new Disc Furnaces is around $75.00.
5) This model has continously variable output from 500 to 1500 watts, like the Original.
6) It has accessories to convert it to an air purifier, a fan, etc. (this doesn't interest me).
I bought it because it's a Pelonis Disc Heater, a design which has proven to me for 23 years that it's safe, it won't start a fire.
