Peggy Sue Got Married (DVD, 1998, Closed Captioned; Subtitled in French and Spanish)

Very few actresses can played themselves as a teenager. This a great movie about the choices we make in our lives. Kathleen Turner is at her high school reunion and has a heart attack then wakes up back in high school. It is just before she agreed to marry her ex-husband. She is shocked and sometimes surprised by her classmates in the past. I love the moment when her father brings home a new car which is an Edisol. I would recommend that you watch the start of the movie again after you see the end. Many of the comments by the classmates have a deeper meaning when you know what happened or will happen. Perception does affect how we views things.

This is one of my ALL TIME Fav. movies! I cry everytime I watch it! Kathleen Turner and Nicholas Cage in their prime time of acting! Kathleen will make you yearn to go back in time and be a part of this awesome adventure! I HIGHLY recommend!

This is the kind of a movie that you want to watch with your whole family. That in itself is great.

I really loved this movie. Not only are the actors & actresses among my favorite, but it goes back to a time in our lives that we cherish but secretly wish that we could undo some things, change some things, and do some new things. Imagine if you will that Peggy Sue, played by Kathleen Turner, wears the same dress that she wore to her senior prom, to her class reunion. Get real!! How many of us could do that?

Her estranged husband, played by none other than Nicholas Cage, is also there and you can tell there are still some sparks there. He is still as handsome as he was in high school, well maybe more handsome, if you ask me.

After being elected the queen, Peggy Sue is so overwhelmed that her heart goes into shock and she has a heart attack right there. She just passes out and falls to the floor. She is rushed to the Emergency Room and this is where she goes back to her high school years. She is different as she loves her little sister, she drinks alcohol, she tells off the girls that she never had enough nerve to tell off, and she and her future husband are just dating. Charlie wants to be a singer and is in a trio and they sing at some parties, etc. However, Charlie's father wants him to take over the family business selling appliances. That sure doesn't sound like much fun, does it? Well Charlie feels the same way. It just isn't hip.

Will she do anything different to change her future? Well, not really. She just remembers the old feelings that she had for her high school sweetheart.

However,she gets involved with the class genius and even goes out with him on his cycle. This is upsetting to everyone and hard to believe. She already knows that he is going to be famous later in his life.

The co-stars are also my favorites, Joan Allen,Jim Carrey, and Helen Hunt.This is a movie that you must have in your movie collection.

I don't really know of anything in this movie that I didn't like. The script is great, the players are great and it is very entertaining.

I love the way this movie hit all of your emotions. You laugh and cry all through it. It is a real chick flick but very uplifting. I love the part when she is able to go back in time to visit with loved ones. It is one of my all time favorites. I think the acting and portrayal of the 50's era was outstanding.

The dvd was in really good condition with no scratches. :) We received it really fast, too! We (my boyfriend and I) were looking for this dvd for a long time since we love the movie! It was given to us at a cheap price and we are very satisfied with what we received.

the movie was in great condition. it was easy to get a great old time movie in such great condition, it was a hard movie to find but on ebay it made it easy to find and with a great price.

This is and has always been one of my favorite movies. Now even though I thought it was one of Nicholas Cages worst performances, Kathleen Turner
was so awesome you will hardly even notice Nicholas Cahe at all.
And you also get to see Jim Carrey in one of his first comedic roles.

Perfect condition of the DVD and quick service. I could not this DVD out in the stores but found it on ebay! This was a movie that we had seen but not our grown up children - it was fun to share it!

I really have enjoyed this as a nostalgic movie. Kathleen Turner and Nicholas Cage were both young and did a great job. Cage has gone on to do other great movies, but I think this is one of Turner's best. Portrays situation of marrying too young as used to be done in the 50's and 60's.

One of my favorite movie I saw it when I was a teenager and have never forgoten it. Received it on a timely basis, I have not had a chance to watch the movie but the jacket looked relately new so I'm sure it will be just fine.

Always a fun movie, have watched it numerous times and still enjoy it. Fun to see a young Nicholas Cage and Jim Carrey.

I can't say anything good or bad about this movie I was supose to get it in the mail never did arrivied.Nothing was ever done about it either. And I have bought and payed here lately some more thinhgs that I'm not getting either.

i recorded the movie originally on a vhs tape and watched it alot its worn out so i decided to upgrade to dvd because they last longer.i'll never get tired of this movie i'll watch it whenever im in the mood for a romantic movie(nicholas cage foots the bill for that)i didnt live in the 50's but if i did i wouldn't mind being as popular as peggy sue.i love the ending it shows how much charlie loves peggy and how they are going to have a wonderful future together.

Very good price was OK ! But if I can get less shipping fee is more better, because

a classes movie,good story line ,I have been looking for this one a long time-
also made points with the wife she liked even more than me

I love this movie. I cant tell you how many times I have said I wish I had a time machine so I could change this or that. But you see this movie with a lady that has some of the very same issues and in the end she decided not to change her life even if she could. Life is short dont worry over the mistakes just fix them and move on.

The movie is kinda old but the storyline is cute basically its a story of a girl who gets to go back to her past

I think it is an all around great movie! It captures you at the very beginning and holds on to you through the whole thing!

This is an oldy but a goody. My husband never saw the movie but I have and I can tell you that he really like it alot and I can watch it over and over again. Highly recommend this movie to everyone.

Turner and NIcholas Cage don't want anything to do with each other and then by the end they are good friends again. It's an awesome love story. Two Thumbs Up from me.

I ALWAYS LOVED THIS CLASSIC HOWEVER WHEN I PURCHASED IT I DID NOT WATCH IT RIGHT AWAY AND SINCE IT WAS SEALED IN IT'S ORIGINAL BOX YOU WOULD THINK IT WOULD PLAY EXCELLENT BUT WHEN I FINALLY GOT TO VIEW THIS MOVIE IT DID NOT PLAY TO MY SATISFACTION WHEN THE ACTORS TALKED IN THE MOVIE YOU WOULD HEAR THE WORDS AFTER THEY SPOKE SORT OF LIKE IN ONE OF THOSE OLD KARATE MOVIES I ASKED THE SELLER IF I CAN EXCHANGE IT NO RESPONSE.
