Pee-Wee's Playhouse Volume # 2 (DVD, 2004, 5 Disc Set)

Pee wee was one of the best show out there in the early 90's. I grew up watching this show and now my kids will too.

This show is enjoyable for those ages 1 to 99. This is a classic that is worth keeping for generations. If this review had a secret word it would be amazing--AHHHHHH!! Ha ha. God Bless You!

Good to see good honest comedy with a little bit of originality again. Pee-Wee's playhouse is a return to straight forward comedy with a good helping of fresh entertainment. A classic childrens / adult show that is worth taking a second look.

Pee Wee is great!! Fun to watch, as I remember the show from when I was a kid. Now my kids love to watch it too, great characters and lots of stuff going on. Wish there was more like this on t.v. now. Or that Pee Wee would come back...

As a former teacher and a mother of four I love these dvds. The cast is multi cultural and females are well represented. There are educational and prosocial storylines. But the best thing about the Playhouse is that it is FUN!

Imagine a playhouse where the food comes alive in the fridge and a family of dinosaurs lives in a mouse hole! There is a robot with a daily "secret word" and a genie who grants wishes. The "King of cartoons" shows what animation was like pre-Disney.

Pee Wee may make a crank phone call or do an arts & craft project or prepare a simple recipe like fruit punch or fruit salad. There are friendly tricks and silly situations. There are conflicts and inappropriate behavoirs. But through it all there is a constant theme of friendship and the importance of "getting along" even when the going gets rough.

The playhouse was among the best and the brightest tv series made for children. My children enjoyed it and I bought this so my grandchildren can too.

This item was listed as "NEW" by it's seller. When it was received it was obvious that a slit was cutin the plastic wrapping so you can remove the dvd's and return them so that the rest of the wrapping stayed on.

The dvds in general were in very good condition but this was a present and I very truely disappointed to have to use tape on a gift like that.

Would not buy from this seller again, sorry!

I would never do business with this person again. He finally responded to me "after" I gave him a honest and poor review. He says it was shipped on the 20.th. I paid almost three dollars for shipment and he said he sent it by media mail. What is that? I could have walked to Michigan and picked it up quicker than this. I want my money back in full. A dispute has been filed on 3-3-09. How did he get such a high score on his feedback? He ask me to change my feedback. Good luck with that. How do you tell a two year old the movie isn't coming?

This set of DVDs, for some reason is not available in my area. Knowing that my daughter “LOVED” Pee-Wee’s Playhouse growing up, I thought it would make a nice holiday gift for her. It sure did, her younger brother really liked them too.

The DVD collection was packaged nicely and delivered in a very timely fashion. The product was in excellent condition and I must say I even laughed out loud a few times watching with my kids. This was & it a GREAT product for the price. My kids and I are very happy with this purchase!

Dvds arrived quickly and in great shape. Girlfriend loved the gift! :)

I enjoyed this show and now my 3 year old and my 10 year old love it also. It is fun to see the special guests that are famous now. Nothing inapropriate. Just plan outrageous fun for everyone.

What a character! I watched Pee Wee growing up and now I know why I'm A.D.H.D. He captures the personality of a small child dealing with everyday issues that confronts a kid. His magic world came to life every Saturday morning through the eighties and now thanks to this dvd these timeless episodes are still as fresh fun and entertaining as ever.

Well this pee wee's play house collection is great. I took me and some family members back to when we were young kids. How we would just sit and watch the shows all the time, so great.

boxed and brand new condition. I have not had a chance to watch it yet. I am still working on Volume #1. Delivered on time and in perfect condition. Very happy.

This is new in the original packaging you could not find this in any store. The Quality is excellent. I love it . I bought it because it was factory sealed. My children love it this is a fun series for children and adults alike to enjoy!!!

Why does this stuff still seem so creative ? Maybe the best sets ever on a kids program. I did find you may suffer temporary disorientation if you watch more than 2 episodes in a row, so be careful. www.oddfilms.com

I love this show! When I was about 11 or 12 yrs old, my whole family would make breakfast together on Saturday mornings and be at the table eating at 9:00am, just in time to turn on Pee-Wee's Playhouse on our small kitchen tv. We did this every weekend and we even participated with the word of the day, sreaming our heads off when it was said, even our parents! I stumbled across this item and I just had to have it! It's been 20 years since my family has done this and I can still remember word-for-word some of the episodes, my kids think I'm nuts. I think it's fun!

I am and avid DVD collector. That is why I purchased the DVD set. I'm not so thrilled with it though. Pee Wee is only entertaining if you are a toddler. No adult that doesn't have mental retardation would be able to sit through an entire episode. I hate dissing PW but I'm not a child anymore. I loved the show growing up. Great for you kids or any avid DVD collectot obsessed with having all the weird ones.
