A classic that has not gone out of style...

I had an earlier version of this book that I loaned out, and never got back. This book is as good as I remember it to be, and even though it was written in the 1980's, it has advice and training tips that are as up to date as the Dog Whisperer. Milo Pearsall was ahead of his time with obedience training, and the book offers a wealth of information, particularly useful to the dog owner who needs to understand that the lessons begin with the owner. This would be a great gift to anyone with a new rambunctious puppy, and also would be useful to the dog owner who wants to learn enough, with his or her dog, to compete successfully in Novice Obedience trials at AKC matches and shows.
