Paypal for dummies is an excellent learning guide for those who have never dealt with paypal. However the true cruxt of using paypal as a payment option, is highlighted through it's poor attitude towards its customers, the poor quality of service and the arrogance in which they constantly leave both buyers and sellers to clean up or wear mess that is not of their doing.
This book is clean and concise however does not take into account the dominance of paypal within a market that they have constantly tried to refine to the point in which they are the only financial players. They refute this quoting low figures of unsatisfied customers, however make it hard to get answers, dispute genuine problems and have any real avenue of redress.
So beware the monster, and make sure you prepare yourself by getting on the internet and reading the blogs posted on Paypal.
I do not kwon when i receive my book "Paypal for Dummies" that I bought 5 week ago. I write down that issue on the resolution center and it is said that after 6 weeks, the buyer should complaint.
I THINK ALL THE "FOR DUMMIES" BOOKS ARE PRETTY WELL DONE. THEY USE HUMOR TO HOLD YOUR ATTENTION. THIS BOOK IS ESPECIALLY GOOD FOR BEGINNERS I THINK. I'VE BEEN DOING THIS AWHILE
The paypal for dummies book was very interesting but just like the other sister book ebay for dummies, it really only explains the basics of just logging in, sending money, and finding the website. I really look for a little more in a guide than that, maybe teaching someone to learn more than just the basics would be great.
I am new to ebay and paypal. When I started selling on ebay there were lots of question that I wanted answered regarding Ebay and Paypal. By ordering Paypal for Dummies I learned quite a lot about paypal. I higly recommend this book for people who are serious abt learning. I am on the look out for a book regarding Ebay also.
I purchased PayPal for Dummies out of jest as I work for PayPal and felt it would be a good desk addition. I upon receiving the book and flipping through the first few chapters I was amaized at how detailed it was, everything was laid out in such pure simplicity I felt that everyone whom opens a PayPal account should be handed this book. If everyone were to read this I would probbably be out of a job as there would be no need to call for help, everything from simple transaction guidance to in depth help with setting up and running merchant services. All in all I felt that this book is more than just a good read, it's a great resource for what could at times seem to be a very confusing and difficult product.
