When you read Pawleys Island or any of Dorothea Benton Frank's books you can almost feel you are there in the midst of the story. You are on the Island !!! Everything about Pawleys Island comes alive for you. You want to read it again and again.

I was recommended Dorothea Benton Frank's first novel by a dear friend that thought I would truly enjoy reading. She was right! Since then I have purchased every book of Ms. Frank's and have enjoyed them tremendously! I have even visited some of the areas mentioned in the book. Lovely country.
