La Pavoni Europiccola EPC-8 Espresso Machine

The Europiccola is the standard lever espresso machine an makes superb espresso.

Look closely at the "T" fitting on the back of the tank. If the steam release knob takes a hit, it will bend the thin brass tank (this is quite common). If the tank is damaged, it may not seal and is almost impossible to repair (speaking from actual experience). A new replacement tank is over $300US.

I've purchased two with this problem. One is OK the other is junk!
