I like that this cookbook is very easy to follow. Its ingredients are a picture showing what is needed and the children can help gather what is needed. It will make a great gift for children

Great to have for College-bound students as well. I am an experienced cook. Tried a couple of the recipes and am quite please with them. Paula is good teacher. Book is well illustrated. I bought 3 books. One is for my 25 year old son who will be on his-owned and needs some plain simple and easy to follow recipes for everyday survival. The other two aqre for my nieces in grade schools.

I got this for my Grandmother to give to her other granddaughter and she & I are both very pleased with the promptness in which we recieved this book. Its in excellent condition and there are no problems. We are very happy with this item as I am sure her granddaughter will be as well!! Thank You

Let's face it...kids LOVE Paula Deen! Who doesn't??? My 5 year-old has been watching Paula since before she could talk, and on a recent trip to the local public library, this book caught her eye. We checked it out, looked through the whole thing (great pics and personal stories, too), and my teenager grabbed it and made dinner. YUM! and I didn't have to make it! anyway, we were sad when it was time to take it back, so I decided to look here on eBay and got a GREAT deal! So fun, for children and adults!!!

I bought this for my young nieces for a Christmas gift..I do believe that they will enjoy it and learn much from it. It is a great cookbook!!! I love it, godd buy, for sure. And not just because it's from Paula Deen.

This is a wonderful first cookbook. It is easy to follow. Illistrations are so sweet. Paula Dean does a great job with her books.

I love Paula Deen and so does my grandson age 10. I thought the cookbook was too juvenial for him. It is more suited for 5-6 yr old. Come on, Paula, you need to right one for him. Thanks, DB

I bought it for my 10 yr old granddaughter's birthday. I can not give a review as I haven't read it but I'm sure its good. This book is for a gift not for me.

This is a wonderful first cook-book. I bought this for my grand-daughter, she is turning 7. She loves to cook and I think it will be fun to use with her. Easy to follow recipes and many helpful hints, I as an adult found useful!

I love Paula Deen and I'm so glad she wrote a kids cookbook! Great fun and great food for kids to make. All are kid friendly, yet stuff that adults could eat too.

This is a must have for cooking with, or for kids! The recipes are easy to follow, with easy-to-find ingredients. My six year old daughter made the "monkey bread", and it was great! (the only thing wrong was the cooking time, it directed 35 min. ,but it needed to stay in about 10 more min.)I love the illustrations too. They have pictures of everything you will need to make the recipe, so that it is really simple for a child to follow. I would highly recommend this book!

I am baking so many dishes with my grandchildren-now this is what I call quality time!!!!! Thanks for helping to make this time with the children even more enjoyable. Everyone should try this in these terrible times, recipes are easy and fun!!!!!

This is a wonderful cookbook for the family with great, but easy recipes to make with your children. Another way to have fun with your children that will teach them lifelong skills and the best part is you can eat what you make.

I enjoyed this book with the excellent pictures...can't wait to cook with my granddaughter.

Paula deen is an excellent cook and has a program on the Food Channel which I dearly love...

This is the best cookbook I have ever seen for kids. The instructions are very easy and my 7-year old grandchildren (2) understand them very well. I highly recommend this cookbook, even for beginning adults that know nothing about cooking can learn their basics from this book.

Bought this cookbook for my 4 year old granddaughter. There's a page with each recipe showing the ingredients (with a picture) you'll need. So even though she doesn't read yet, she'll be able to "read" this recipe. The entire book layout is just plain fun & interesting for kids. She's going to love it!

This cookbook is great and I know my 9 year old niece will love it. She's already read through some of the book and has her recipes to try all picked out. The recipes are easy to read and understand.

I bought this book for my granddaughter for Christmas. She is almost 9 and I am trying to inspire her to cook. Her mother is NOT a cook and I want her to learn now while she is young to cook and not rely on take out..

This is such a great book for kids. The recipes are something that you would actually want to eat and they are easy for kids to prepare! It has great pictures and just very well done! We will have many great adventures in the Kitchen with this one!

I purchased the book "Paula Deen's My First Cookbook" as a request from my daughter-in-law. She really likes to watch the Paula Deen show and has alot of her cookbooks. She requested it because my granddaughter, who is almost 2, will be ready soon to be in the kitchen with her Mom. She wanted this book since it has simple good recipes to help children start out in the kitchen.

The recipes are very easy to follow (for children) and just by looking at the page they know what they will need for the recipe. thank you
