Patton (VHS, 1998)

If you dont know anything about this man, this is a good place to start, but
just remember..hollywood can sometimes get it close and in this case touches
lightly on what the man was really like! This movie should inspire you to get
up and do the right thing, be a real human and get off your #%@ and get
something done, make something of yourself. His sayings and methods bare
repeating, except for the language which in ths movie is so cleaned up
compared to the real George Patton it would be considered sunday school
material... On the other hand believed a soldiers morality vital to win the battle. This should be required for HS Seniors IMO... This movie should encourage you to research his total biography and learn as much about him as you can.

This movie is still great, great acting and not too much gore at the same time showing the horrors of war. Bought it so my teenage grandson could see the sacrifices made in the defense of liberty and how proud we are of that generation. The movie portrays both the best and worst of Patton and that gives it credibility. Certainly suitable for ages 13 to 113 and will entertain them all. Do take a break mid movie because it is long and you will enjoy it.

this is a very good movie for all WWII info lovers, its follows a great war genral around about his thoughts and how he helped treamendusly to win the war great ideas and great leader! i truly believe with out out him we mght have lost or it would have took a lot longer to win lost alot more men and i also love his idea of taking out the russians at the time they thought he was crazy but now im sure they kick them selves in the arse.... any way great movie must see patton one of the very best war generals to ever live

I bought the movie for a friend who lives in Texas. He is partially disabled and lives on a fixed income and he told me he was looking for a copy. I knew it was difficult for him to get around looking for a copy. I did not tell him but I knew I would find one on Ebay. I wanted it to be a surprise.

I was so excited when I found it and won it for a bid of $0.01 and $4.98 shipping.

It was a used copy in perfect condition. I can always count on Ebay to have exactly what I want and need.
