This book that I purchased was not to be resold since it was a teacher's edition now I am not able to resale it.

I bought this book for a composition class. It is a book of expository writing. There are essays from some of the greatest literary composers of modern times, with a couple of older examples like Mark Twain, classic Americana. There are some very interesting and enlightening tales in this compilation; a 'best of the best', if you will. My comp. class is online, so our discussions are written. I have experienced lively and intriguing discussions from some of these essays. They hold incredible insight into all the human conditions. I highly recommend this book.

Very interesting book. Each essay has questions which helps greatly in understadnding the piece of reading.

I used this book in a class I took...Expository Writing. I really like the author, Robert Schwegler, and his other works as well. The content of this book is good too--not as good as his others though. There are many helpful hints to improve one's writing technique. It is a lot of reading though.

I bought this book because it is required for my Composition II class. I was happy that so far all the pages are accounted for and there's no writing throughout the text... however I was a bit disappointed that in the right lower bottom something had been spilled on the book and had crinkled all the pages and stained them. Luckily... to me... that doesn't really matter. I got what I needed in a timely manner for my class... and it does the job. As a used book I would say it was in average to good condition. I hope to be able to sell it after this semester!
