I have not been able to put the book down since i received it !!!I am very interested in survival stories,Fiction or Non,so I would recommend this book for anyone that needs to live in the moment of crisis.

This book is very well researched, and best of all, it is also very interesting to read. It's a bit heavy on gun info so guys will love that and the women warriors in this story are inspiring. Several years ago this book might have been simply an interesting work of fiction, but now in the post-9/11 world it is something to think seriously about. The circumstances in this book are quite possible, more so than any of us would like to admit. I strongly recommend "Patriots" to anyone who's ever wondered what would happen should the day come when they dialed 911 and nobody answered.(Remember Katrina, Hurricane Andrew and the LA Riots?) Read "Patriots" and find out. It is definitely time well spent. However, let me offer a word of warning. Pick up "Patriots" and you won't want to put it down until its finished! You never know when the lights will go out!

If you have any interest in how to survive if or when the infrastructure of America collapses, and you're on your own for food, water, shelter and protection, this fictional book is for you. It is full of suggestions, recommendations, and "what if" type scenarios with plans to address many of the foreseeable bad things that could happen if this country ever melts down.

If you're already a hard core survivalist, you'll love this book for the story itself, centered around 6 families that began preparing for the end about 10 yrs ago, so that when it all hit the fan, they were pretty well prepared and able to help others, and make the best of their situation.

Great book! It gives a detailed glimpse into the lives of those that "dared to prepare". Actually, it would be a good idea for more folks to learn something here. It is well written with a good story line. There are lots of useful ideas and suggestions here as well. A great book for "preppers" to check out.

This book is a definite page turner, and when you are done you want to read it again. The only debate I have found online concerning this book is is it a novel or a survival manual. The information given in it is REAL, not made up. I have been recommending it to people I know. This book may unfortunately give us a glimpse of what may happen in the future. GET THIS BOOK AND READ IT NOW!!!!!!!!

This is the story of a group of patriots and how they fought to survive after a complete collapse in America. The book is an interesting read and very informative, it could be used as a text book if you ever need one. If the collapse comes, the ones who have read this book will stand a much greater chance of surviving than those who have not. A little slow in some spots where the information gets rich, but it makes up for it when the action gets heavy.
