This was a well made, intense movie. It evokes strong feelings throughout the entire show. I would love to see this in an edited version however, as I do have difficulty with graphic scenes. This was not as graphic ( I don't believe) as Braveheart. This is a movie I will watch again! (not for children)

This movie is outstanding! You don't have to be a history buff or a Mel Gibson / Heath Ledger fan to enjoy this movie. The actors are phenomenal. The costuming is beautiful. The settings are realistic. The story line is heart wrenching. I cannot say enough good things about this movie.

By far, I believe, Mel Gibson's best movie ever, as an actor, bar none! I would also venture to say my personal favorite movie of all time. This extended cut really adds so much more intensity to the film. The missing scenes were probably reluctantly deleted, I imagine. When you see this you will know exactly what I am stating here. Some of film's most breathtaking scenes accompanied by a fairly frequent bad taste in writing. Gibson overacts and the slow motion sequences are almost over the top, which create easily predictable plot changes, something that have room among war's irregular schedule of events. It's fun but long.

Saw it twice in the theatre. Takes a bit of historical license, but it's spectacular on every front. Perhaps the only movie of its kind. You really feel like you're peeking at the revolution.

It was delivered sooner than I thought. DVD is new and in very good condition.
